The Continental natural campsite is located near the lovely beach of Marina de Castagneto. The beach has the "Blue Flag" certification, granted because the beach is very clean and safe here. You can swim, windsurf and sail in the sea. You have plenty of shade on the campsite thanks to all the trees. This forested environment radiates an oasis of peace and quiet. The campsite is a great starting point for a visit to lovely Italian art cities such as Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa.

Experiencing nature

At Camping Continental you can find irregularly laid out, hidden spots where you have quite a bit of privacy. The trees in the forest provide a natural demarcation of the pitches. The most beautiful pitches are near the beach. There are lodge tents for hire, but they have no sanitary facilities.

Sports entertainment

You can stay in shape during your camping holiday, perhaps on the beach volleyball pitch or in the fitness room. Ask at the reception for the excursion programme, all kinds of activities are organised. The cycling routes are also easy to follow. Don't have a bike? No problem! You can rent one at the reception.

On the campsite you'll find a playground and a bouncy castle. The entertainment programme for kids is only offered in Italian. The mini club is also in English.

Pizzas, snacks and drinks

You can eat out in a restaurant on this campsite where they have a small menu. For example, pizzas and snacks. You can also get take-away meals here. And order a cooling drink in the charming little bar. You can find fresh bread and a few other things in the small supermarket on the property.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub auf einem TOP Platz. Auf diesem Campingplatz hatte sogar im April der Campingladen schon die volle Auswahl an allem was das Herz begehrt. Auch im Restaurant konnte man sehr gut essen. Alles war schön und sauber. Das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Mit ein paar Schritten war nan schon am Strand und konnte einen wunderschönen Strandspaziergang machen. Auch mit dem Fahrrad konnte man in kleine Örtchen radeln auf wenig befahrenen Strassen. Die sanitären Anlagen waren immer sehr sauber. Es war ein schöner Urlaub an den wir gerne wieder zurückdenken und sicher wieder einmal dort Station machen.

Wir waren 10 Wochen auf diesem Platz und waren sehr zufrieden. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Toilettenanlagen zwar ETWAS ÄLTER ABER IMMER SAUBER. Restaurant und Barpersonal sehr freundlich. Hat uns sehr gefallen

Wir haben im Februar 2022 für den 8. April online gebucht. Der Platz sollte am 1.4.22 öffnen, das ist auch in der Preisliste ersichtlich.
Wir bekamen eine automatische Antwort, dass die Buchungsanfrage bearbeitet wird. Einen Tag später wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass man für den von uns gewünschten Zeitraum keine Reservierung bräuchte, es gäbe genug freie Plätze. Ich habe daraufhin noch einmal um eine Buchungsbestätigung gebeten und wurde erneut darauf aufmerksam gemacht, es sei alles frei und wir könnten einfach anreisen. Es wurde mir in perfekten Deutsch geantwortet und mit einem deutschen Vornamen unterschrieben. Da die Reservierungsanfrage online auf der Internetseite erfolgte, stand auch fest, wann genau wir anreisen wollten.
Am 8.4.22 standen wir dann vor verschlossenen Toren. Ein Arbeiter teilte uns mit, der Platz würde erst am nächsten Tag öffnen und wir mussten uns etwas anderes suchen. Es wurde uns noch nicht einmal erlaubt, durch das Tor zu fahren, um auf dem Campingplatz zu wenden. Da es keine Wendemöglichkeit gab, mussten wir den Wohnwagen abhängen und von Hand drehen, um den langen, schmalen Weg zur Straße zurück fahren zu können.
Wir sind sprachlos und sehr verärgert über diese Behandlung.

Il posto vicino al mare in mezzo ad una narmtura selvaggia con tanta privacy è impagabile. Si mangia benissimo il camping è vicino ad un piccolo centro abitato dove si trovano negozi e tabacchi. Si arriva via mare o con la bicicletta o a piedi in mezzo ad una pineta. Pulizia e anti- covid perfetta.

Wir haben uns dort nur zwei Stunden aufgehalten. Wir kamen kurz vor 14:00 an. Wurden freundlich darauf hingewiesen, dass Mittagsruhe ist und wir die Möglichkeit gaben uns den Platz anzuschauen. Erst wollten wir etwas essen. Das Restaurant sah ansprechend aus, aber leider auch schon geschlossen. Keine Möglichkeit auch nur ein paar Pommes zu bekommen. Am öffentlichen Strand haben wir dann etwas gefunden. Nach dem Essen wieder zurück zum Platz. Sehr chaotisch angelegt in einem Pinienwald. Eigentlich schön, aber die Sanitäranlagen sind eine Katastrophe! Uralt und ohne Warmwasser. Dafür muss man 30 Cent zahlen. Keine Ablagemöglichkeit in den Duschen für Kleidung und Hygieneartikel.
Wir sind dann weiter gefahren. Anzahlung war futsch! Nicht zu empfehlen!
