In a pine forest, at one km from the coastal village of Principina a Mare (Toscane), lies the quiet and modest Campeggio Principina. There is a large amount of greenery on the campsite which creates a relaxing atmosphere. From the campsite it is a ten minute walk to the sea. The campsite offers an entertainment programme for young and old (in Italian, sometimes in English).

Sleeping between pine trees
Unpaved paths will lead you to your pitch, located on neatly maintained fields. You will find pine trees in many places. There are no less than four hundred touring pitches, varying from 50 to 140 m2. By and large you are assured of sufficient privacy. There is little demarcation between the pitches, this is more or less left to your own discretion. There are 72 rental accommodation units (lodge tents, cottages and mobile homes).
The ideal beach
When you feel like a swim, you will undoubtedly head for the sea! This can be reached via a cycle/footpath. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in this part of the Mediterranean Sea in Italy: a wide swathe of beach with fine, almost white sand. White sun umbrellas and loungers await you here and there is a wooden jetty leading down to the sea.
The hungry camper
The small restaurant with lovely ambiance has a limited menu with good quality dishes. It has a cheerful appearance and two terraces. You can also get take-away meals. You can enjoy a drink at the bar. There is also a pizzeria. The small supermarket only stocks a few essentials. In summer, after 1st June, the range is extended.
