Camping Village Internazionale Firenze is a large terraced campsite situated in the hilly Tuscan landscape. You camp here only ten kilometres from Florence. Although the campsite and its facilities are a bit cluttered, you will stay on a beautiful campsite: on the slope of a hill and among the trees. Because of its location, close to the motorway and the cultural city of Florence, this campsite is particularly suitable for city visits and as a transit campsite.

Camping against the slope

The campsite looks a bit cluttered, especially the back part. Nevertheless, you have beautiful place. The pitches, some shaded by trees, are spacious enough on their own, but offer little privacy. Despite the fact that the campsite consists of terraces, not all pitches are straight. When you come with caravan or camper, it is therefore important that you can correct this. The mobile homes are also situated against the slope.

City visitors and travellers

At Camping Village Internazionale Firenze mainly city visitors and holidaymakers who are travelling south, or coming from there. The campsite is less suitable for longer stays.

Cooling down

At the bottom of the hill, in the warm sun, are the two swimming pools. One of these pools is a paddling pool, so the children can have a nice bath here as well. Ideal to cool off after a tiring ride or a long day in Florence.

Pizzas and wine

At the front of the campsite you will find the restaurant and the shop. The pizzas in the restaurant are fine and the assortment in the shop is quite extensive. Of course you have a wide choice of good Tuscan wines.

Travelling party: Seniors

Probably not the best campsite to choose if you\'re spending a holiday in Firenze, but if you\'re just passing through (as I was) its location close to the autostrada (but thankfully not within earshot of it) is ideal.. The sanitary block has a slightly neglected feel about it -- but everything works. And the restaurant is serious about both food and wine -- one of the best I\'ve encountered in many years of camping.
