In the heart of the Chianti region in Tuscany lies the the Orlando in Chianti Glamping Resort. At this terraced campground, located in the countryside south of Florence, you'll be camping among vine-covered hills. Modern mobile homes, chalets and lodge tents give the campsite a glamping vibe. The long pool and modern restaurant, which serves Tuscan regional dishes, add to the luxury experience.

Camping or glamping?

The campground is located up the hill. The pitches and accommodations are laid out on different terraces. The terrain is quite steep and not equally accessible everywhere, so you may have to do some manoeuvres to get to your pitch or lodge. There are tall trees all over the campsite, providing plenty of shady spots. Rental accommodations are in a large majority at this campsite. Opposite some fifty touring pitches (not always on even ground), there are over two hundred accommodations.

Fun in the woods

Not only is the campsite a convenient starting point for trips in the Tuscan hills, but the whole family can relax there in luxury. The forests are one big playground for children and a nice resting place for adults.

Refreshing dive

The pools, in particular, are fun for every member of the family. These are located at the front of the campsite, in an open area under the sun. The largest pool is quite simple, but the decoration is very nice. There is plenty of room to lie down around the pool (under parasols), and the grassy lawns and flower beds provide a touch of colour. Next to the pool, you'll find the whirlpool, and a wide slide will take you to the toddler pool below.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - The camping cube we stayed in was perfect. Very clean and well thought out to ensure we had everything we could possibly need. Our meal in the restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed breakfast from the market on our decking area. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful from start to finish. Thank you!
