In the Italian Alps, close to Lake Garda, lies the AB&C Arco bed and Camping campsite. This small, quiet agri-campsite is managed by the Amistadi family. From the neat camping area, you have a panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. The campsite is near the town of Arco, which has a beautiful historic centre. You can reach Riva del Garda in 20 minutes by bike and stand on the shore of one of Italy's most famous lakes.

Quiet and small-scale

Arco bed and Camping is a small campsite with approximately twenty touring pitches and six rental accommodations. From the campsite, you have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The pitches are on the small side, but they are laid out nice and flat on the grass. The pitches are clearly defined, but there is little vegetation or shelter between them.

Fine swimming pool

Next to the main building is a pleasant but simple swimming pool. It is well maintained. Around the pool, there are plenty of sun loungers and parasols, so you will always be able to find a nice spot in the shade. Next to the pool is a playground with swings, playhouses and a slide. If you are looking for a bit more aquatic fun, Lake Garda is a logical choice.

Wine and olive oil

There is no shop at the campsite, but the Amistadi family sells their own delicious wine and olive oil. Arco is a nice little town with a beautiful historic centre. You will find several supermarkets, the nearest of which is less than half a kilometre from the campsite. In addition, there are all kinds of restaurants and pizzerias serving tasty food.

Travelling party: Couple

Aufgrund meiner Bewertung hat mich die Eigentümerin per Mail angeschrieben und den Sachverhalt erklärt.
AB&C Camping ist seit 2021 nicht mehr bei ACSI.
Das zeigt mir, dass man sich dort sehr um die Zufriedenheit der Kunden bemüht und wir werden diesen Campingplatz in diesem Jahr sicher wieder besuchen.

Travelling party: Couple

Der Camping gefällt mir sehr gut und ist günstig gelegen. Supermarkt und Arco zu Fuss erreichbar.
Aber: es sieht so aus, als wollten die irgendwie die ACSI Vergünstigungen nicht gewähren.
Folgende Erfahrungen habe ich gemacht, die sich alle in der Nachsaison ereignet haben:
Beispiel 1. Wir haben einen Stellplatz reserviert. Am Campingplatz angekommen sagte man mir, ACSI wir nicht akzeptiert wenn vorab reserviert wurde.
Beispiel 2: Ein anderes Mal sind ohne Reservierung angereist, da hieß es, ACSI wird nicht akzeptiert, wenn der Campingplatz zu mehr als 50% ausgelastet ist. Nachdem ich das nicht akzeptiert habe, haben wir uns auf einen Tagessatz geeinigt.
Beispiel 3: Im September 21 sind wir ohne Reservierung angereist, der Campingplatz war ca. halbvoll. Nachdem ich nach einem Stellplatz gefragt habe und ob sie ACSI akzeptieren, sagte mir die Eigentümerin, dass sie ACSI nicht mehr akzeptieren, ich könnte allerdings einen Stellplatz haben.
Nachdem ich das akzeptiert habe, wollte sie von mir noch unbedingt die ACSI Karte haben.
Da wir gerne an den Gardasee fahren, werde ich im kommenden Jahr wieder zu diesem Campingplatz fahren. Ich bin gespannt mit welcher Ausrede ich konfrontiert werde.
