On the sunny terraces above Bolzano, in the midst of the majestic Dolomites, lies Camping Chalet Salten. It is a small-scale campsite that focuses on enjoying outdoor living. However, there are no amenities lacking: everything has been taken care of, down to the last detail. The campsite offers a beautiful view and serves as a home base for outdoor activities or a visit to Merano or Bolzano.

Camping in the midst of the Dolomites

Contrary to what the name suggests, Camping Chalet Salten offers more than just luxury chalets as accommodation. The site also has 38 spacious pitches, all with a breathtaking view of the Dolomites, part of UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The pitches, located in a long green arc, have been fitted with all of the necessary connections.

Relax at a high altitude

Camping Chalet Salten offers a comfortable holiday. For starters, the toilet facilities are clean and accessible. The site also has a mini-market with regional specialities. Not in the mood to cook? Order a quick bite at the pizzeria. A playground has been constructed for the children to enjoy themselves. If you would like to explore the area by bicycle, you can rent one from the bicycle rental.

Beautiful mountainous landscape and lively cities

The campsite is located at a high altitude between the cities of Bolzano (17 km) and Merano (43 km). But the greatest attraction is the immediate surroundings of the campsite, with numerous trails for cycling and hiking. If the beauty of nature is what you seek, you are in the right place.
