The idyllic Camping Markushof is in the village of Ora in the Italian South Tyrol. The campsite is quiet and surrounded by lots of natural greenery and vineyards. You also have stunning views of the surrounding mountains. If you like the countryside and are a walking or cycling enthusiast, then this is the ideal holiday spot. Camping Markushof is focused on the over 50s. The campsite is not suitable for children under the age of 16.

Natural green campsite for those seeking peace and quiet

Camping Markushof has 58 camping pitches ranging in size from 80 to 100 m². There is plenty of natural planting, including apple and palm trees, which provide shade and privacy. It makes you feel like you are camping in the middle of the countryside. If you pitch at the edge of the campsite, you will have the fortune of enjoying the beautiful views of the vineyards and mountain tops.

Swimming with a view

The swimming pool is by reception. It is ideal for a wonderful, refreshing swim. There are sun loungers and parasols around the swimming pool where you can also enjoy the mountain views. The campsite is in the rural wine village of Ora, which means you are within walking distance of charming restaurants, bars and shops.

Discover Lago di Caldaro

Lago di Caldaro is only 4.5 kilometres from the campsite. This is one of the cleanest and warmest lakes in Italy. You can take lovely walks around the lake and there are numerous walking and cycling routes. You are also at the right place for water sports such as windsurfing and sailing.

Travelling party: Couple

Camping in een stadje met terrasjes en eetgelegenheden. Wat fijn was want restaurant op de camping dicht!Redelijk wat ‘ ouder’ publiek.sanitair prima en schoon,in een kelder. Doordat het hotel dicht was ruimte bij het zwembad. Anders zou het veel te druk zijn. Wij hadden een vreselijke plaats tussen het hotel en een naast gelegen gebouw. Geen mooi uitzicht dus. Eigenaresse zakelijk en kortaf. Bij afrekenen geen vraag hoe we het gehad hebben of goede reis gewenst.

Travelling party: Couple

Geweldig sanitair, in de kelder van het hotel. Op zich prima zwembad, maar de ligbedden waren voorbehouden aan hotelgasten. Dat maakte het verblijf bij het zwembad veel minder leuk.
Heel snelle WiFi, ook achteraan op de camping. Luid beierende klokken vanaf 7.00, maar verder heerlijk rustig en schoon. Mooie ruime plekken met schaduw.
