Shaded terraced camping site
Camping Sanfilippo is a shady terraced campsite. The reception is located at the highest point. So you can enjoy a lovely panoramic view. From the reception, a wide, paved boulevard runs down the hill. The camping area is very well cared for and extends all the way to the sea. There are about a hundred touring pitches in the campsite, which are nicely demarcated by greenery.
A small bay with a sandy beach
Camping Sanfilippo is located directly on the Tyrrhenian Sea, in a small bay with a sandy beach. The coast here is rocky, and there are also many rocks and stones on the sandy beach and in the sea. Still, it's possible to enjoy swimming and snorkelling in the bay. All along the coast of Sicily, you will find beautiful beaches. One of the most beautiful is Lido Salinelle, four kilometres away. Cefalù is also a great place to swim and sunbathe.
Simple facilities
In terms of facilities, the campsite is simple. There is a small camping shop and a simple bar, but no restaurant. However, you can get a takeout at the bar. Just outside the campsite, you will find a small restaurant and a beach pavilion. In Cefalù, a nice tourist village five kilometres from the campsite, you will find an abundance of restaurants, pizzerias and bars. There is a shuttle bus from the campsite, but you can also take the (cheaper) public bus.
