This Italian campsite is located 15 kilometres from the beautiful town of Taormina and its famous Greco-Roman open air theatre. A bit south-west of that is the Mount Etna volcano. This makes Camping La Focetta Sicula an ideal base for visiting these two highlights of the island of Sicily. The shady grounds of this small-scale campsite run directly along the banks of a wide sand and pebble beach. When not visiting the many sights Sicily has to offer, you can relax and unwind while sunbathing and swimming in the Ionian Sea.

Shaded touring pitches and comfortable accommodations

You'll be welcomed by the owner's daughter at the reception. This tree-lined campsite offers mainly tourist camping pitches. Some of these pitches are demarcated. In general, the pitches are quite spacious, although the exact size also depends on how busy the campsite is. Some of the touring pitches are situated almost directly on the beach. In addition, the campsite rents out a number of comfortable mobile homes.

Direct access to the Ionian Sea beach

Camping La Focetta Sicula is located directly on a sand and pebble beach. The campsite has its own access path to this beach, from which you can take a wonderful, refreshing dip in the Ionian Sea. You can also enjoy excellent diving, snorkelling, sailing, water skiing and windsurfing here. You can rent the necessary equipment not far from the campsite. During high season, the campsite hosts regular disco and karaoke nights in the atmospheric Lounge Bar.

Der Platz ist für die Durchreise geeignet. Nicht auf allen Stellplätzen wird ACSI akzeptiert, also vorher zur Sicherheit nachfragen. Sanitär ist ok, Einkaufen 400m entfernt. Für 1-2 Nächte in Ordnung.

Sanitär alt aber sauber und immer geputzt... direkt am Meer gelegen und herrlich gemütlich... Personal sehr freundlich...einkaufen zu Fuß im Ort oder im Supermarkt nebenan...Bushaltestellen direkt vor dem Campingplatz...

Ein sehr schöner Campingplatz. Sehr freundliches Personal. Sehr saubere Sanitäranlagen. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist perfekt. Trotzdem sind schöne schattige Stellplätze vorhanden. Alles perfekt. Das Restaurant war leider nicht auf.Der Supermarkt ist aber direkt nebenan. Deshalb auch für Essen und Trinken 5 Sterne.

Aufenthalt auf den Campingplatz ist empfehlenswert, wenn ein Besuch von Taormina geplant ist. Fahrzeuge am besten direkt vor schwarzer Aschestrand stellen. Plätze unter Bäumen wegen Taubenkot meiden. Bushaltestelle nach Taormina befindet sich vor dem Platz. Busrückfahrt zum Campingplatz geht vom Busbahnhof aus und nicht von der Ausstiegshaltestelle.

man hat mir 4 Plätze zur Auswahl gegeben aber ich durfte nur den Platz nehmen den mir die Chefin zuwies. Nicht hundefreundlich. Die Dusche muss man extra bezahlen.Ich kann den Platz nicht empfehlen.

Wir wollten 2 Nächte bleiben, haben uns aber auf dem Platz so wohl gefühlt, dass wir schlussendlich 4 Nächte geblieben sind. Positiv: Direkt am Strand, Nähe zu Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurants, idealer Ausgangspunkt für Besichtigungen und Radtouren. Die Leiterin ist freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit und sorgt mit ihren klaren Regeln und Anweisungen für Ordnung auf dem Platz. Dass die Sanitäranlagen etwas erneuerungsbedürftig aber sauber sind, wurde ja schon mehrfach erwähnt.

Für eine Nacht ist der Platz ok!
Super Stellplatz, haben einen Platz direkt am Meer ohne Aufpreis bekommen. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Negativ sind leider die sehr veralteten Sanitäranlagen ( aber sauber) und die Lage an einer sehr engen und befahrenen Straße.
