Mons Gibel Camping Park Belpasso is a small-scale campsite with a unique location on the slopes of the Mount Etna volcano. Campers enjoy the beautiful views of the volcano, the serene tranquillity, a lovely swimming pool and well-maintained sanitary facilities.

The campsite is known for its hospitable atmosphere and its ideal location for visiting the most beautiful places in Sicily. The young owners offer a shuttle service to Mount Etna. There are also many beautiful hiking routes to choose from.

Swimming and sunbathing

There is a nice outdoor swimming pool which is open in the summer months. The wooden terrace features comfortable sun loungers and parasols. A wonderful place to read a book or feel the warmth of the sun on your skin.

The fun playground, with its wide range of equipment, is also popular among the youngest campers.

Sicilian barbecue

Pizza is a must-have when on holiday in Italy! You'll find a flyer from the local pizzeria that will deliver to your camping spot at the reception. For the connoisseur there is a traditional Sicilian stone barbecue. And if you would like fresh rolls or croissants for breakfast, you can place the order a day in advance.

To Mount Etna

Impressive nature and history complement each other perfectly in Sicily. An organised hike to the most active volcano in the world, Mount Etna, makes for an unforgettable experience and should certainly top your list. The volcano is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

There is a shuttle service from the campsite to Nicolosi, one of the main starting points for excursions on the southern flank of Mount Etna.

Travelling party: Couple

Very welcoming, family run site. Lovely family. Donna especially who seems to run the site couldn’t do enough for us from arranging excursion to Mount Etna, shuttle bus service to Nicolosi and Belpasso, Donna even booked our restaurant for us. Toilets spotless, pitches good sized, all services. Can recommend with confidence!

Liked - Nice site in pleasant surroundings. With nice facilities
Disliked - Pool was empty, transport to Etna finished for season day after we arrived.
