Kamemi Camping Village is located on the south coast of Sicily, between the towns of Agrigento and Sciacca. The campsite is situated slightly inland, but within walking distance of the beach and the sea. A wonderful place to relax and explore the south-west of Sicily. A topper for sights is the famous temple valley of Agrigento with its ancient Greek temples (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Right across from Africa
The campsite is about 700 m from the beach near the village of Seccagrande. Here you are in the deep south of Europe: Africa is right on the other side of the Mediterranean Sea.
When you drive to your pitch after visiting reception, you will notice that there is a large area with permanent sites and that the touring pitches are located at the front and the back of the camping. Here there are delineated campsites for small or large tents, caravans or campers. In addition, there are one room chalets for rent for 2 to 3 people (including breakfast) and bungalows for a maximum of 6 people.
Swimming pool with entertainment
It is worth mentioning that the swimming pool, which is prominently displayed on the Kamemi website, is also extremely attractive in reality. This is the backdrop for the entertainment in high season (including disco and live music). As mentioned, the beach is 700 m away and you can get there on foot. There is a separate section of the camping with loungers and parasols.
The campsite has a restaurant (only open in the evening) where you can enjoy Sicilian specialities (also take away). In addition there is a bar and a well-stocked supermarket.
