Mainly fixed annual places
The campsite mainly accommodates annual guests. That is why there are mainly fixed annual pitches. But camping Smeraldo is also ideal for touring campers. Some thirty-five touring pitches are situated on a lawn, where tall trees provide the necessary shade. The touring pitches are not particularly spacious and undefined, but they are comfortable enough for a week's camping. You can also spend the night in one of the mobile homes.
Lake Maggiore
In front of the campsite, opposite the reception building, is the swimming pool. The swimming pool (with a paddling pool at its side) is small, so it can be quite crowded in high season. Fortunately, Lake Maggiore is only a few steps away from your pitch. A central path leads to an open area on the lake, where a beach volleyball court has been created. Directly on the water, pebbles form a narrow beach. Maybe not ideal for lying on, but the lawn behind it offers enough space to spread your towel.
Supermarket
On the small square at the entrance of the campsite you will find the terrace. Here you can have a refreshing drink. For your daily groceries you don't have to drive far. In Dormelletto, just a few minutes by car, there is a large supermarket.
