On the Tuscan coast, close to tourist cities such as Pisa, Lucca and Livorno, you will find Camping Miramare. At this campsite you camp directly on the rocky coast of the Mediterranean Sea. The most beautiful camping spots are right by the sea: delimited comfort pitches with a beautiful view over the water and a private terrace. The campsite has a swimming pool.

Camping at the entrance or by the sea

The campsite has different characters. If you are on a touring pitch close to the entrance, you may occasionally be bothered by the busy road next to the campsite and the tracks behind it. At the back of the campsite you'll find the most beautiful spots: comfort pitches with a view of the Mediterranean Sea and a private terrace. More expensive than the other touring pitches, but worth the money.

View over the Mediterranean Sea

From the entrance of camping Miramare you still look out on the hills, the view on the other side of the camping is completely different. Here you can sit on a bench on a higher part for a beautiful view over the Mediterranean Sea. But also directly at the water there are seats waiting for you. Via a staircase you reach the land border, which doesn't serve as a soft sandy beach, but as a rocky coast.

Seafood and pizza

If you are camping in Italy by the Mediterranean Sea, you can expect delicious seafood. Next to the swimming pool is the campsite's restaurant, where seafood is the centre of the dishes. But of course you can also taste different pizzas and the youngest guests will be taken into account.

Travelling party: Young couple

Liked - The facilities and toilets are clean. The restaurant serves ok food.
Disliked - We had a pitch wich was very noisy because it was located close
To the road and the railway. Even at night the motorway and railway stay active and create a lot of noise.

Liked - Friendly reception, good sized pitch, good views, very quiet at night.
Disliked - The beach - 2 out of 3 steps were broken and the beach and access were a mess ! Not sure if it’s the camp responsibility but a beach clear up would improve the environment! Nowhere to walk too as on a very busy road with no pavement!

Travelling party: Seniors

Liked - The private terrace and watching the sunset from it. Perfect if you just want to relax and do nothing for a few days.
Disliked - Not easy to commute to anywhere from the site.
