Camping Lido di Monvalle is a tranquil campsite in the north of Italy, located directly on Lago Maggiore. The lake lies on the border between the Lombardy and Piedmont regions. Their hills, covered with vines, as well as the large lakes attract many nature lovers. On the campsite you can combine a tour of the rolling landscape with a long afternoon of swimming and soaking up the sun.

Camping with a lake view

Camping Lido di Monvalle has quite a number of permanent pitches, where especially Italians and Swiss guests have made their fixed abode. The touring pitches are used by camping guests of different nationalities. The pitches are not particularly large, but they are beautifully laid out in the natural surroundings. Some of them are situated almost directly on Lago Maggiore. You can therefore camp here with a superb view of the lake.

Whilst enjoying the view of the Piedmont mountains, you can go for a swim or engage in some water sports and enjoy the peace and quiet on and around this vast lake. At the back of the campsite is a lovely lawn where you can soak up the sun on one of the loungers.

Conviviality

Every now and then in high season the campsite organises live concerts, musical evenings and foam parties. At the bar and by the lake the social get-together can at times continue until the early hours of the morning. These evenings may be a bit noisier than usual, but the night-time rest of the campers is taken into consideration. 

Italian specialities

The large restaurant is the hub of the campsite. You can enjoy a glass of Italian wine and eat your pizza whilst overlooking the lake. What more could one ask for?

gelegener Campingplatz direkt am Lago Maggiore. In der letzten offenen Woche, war es bereits recht ruhig und der Service etwas eingeschränkt.

Sehr schön gelegener kleiner Familien Campingplatz mit sehr netten Betreibern. Die Sanitären Einrichtungen sind einfach aber sauber! Schöne Bar direkt am Wasser!

Der Campingplatz ist sehr ruhig, familiär geführt, hat ein wunderbares Restaurant und insgesamt sehr eentspannend.
Keine Hektik, kein Trubel und ist touristisch nicht überlaufen. Ideal für Menschen die Ruhe und Entspannung suchen. Von hier sind auch gut Fahrradtouren zu starten.
Die Inhaber sind auch deutschsprachig, immer hilfsbereit und freundlich.

Trotz Generationenwechsel und Corona gibt sich das eigentümergeführte Personal jede erdenkliche Mühe um es den Campern gut gehen zu lassen.
Die familiäre Situation geht vom Betreiber direkt zu den Gästen über und wird auch so gepflegt.

Nur positives Feedback von Jung bis Alt ... weiter so!!!

Travelling party: Seniors

Der traumhaft schön gelegene Campingplatz hatte leider jede Nacht(!) von 21 bis kurz vor 24 Uhr laute Musikbeschallung vom Restaurant her. Jugendliche Gäste lärmten dann noch lange weiter durch die Nacht.
