In Italian Lombardy, close to the Swiss border and on the northern shore of Lake Como, you’ll find Camping Au Lac de Como. Here you can camp directly by the water and with a view of the surrounding Alps. This somewhat dated and simple campsite is a suitable base for climbing and mountain biking in the mountains. Take a dip in Lake Como or take a boat or surfboard out on the water.

Orderly but untidy

The terrain of camping Au Lac de Como is well-organised and easy to access. Because there are no partitions between the pitches, the campsite has an open atmosphere. However, because of this, but also because of the considerable number of permanent pitches, it can make a somewhat untidy impression. The fifty touring pitches are situated on lawns close to the lake. You can also spend the night in one of the hotel rooms or the basic mobile homes.

Easy to reach from different countries

The campsite is located in the far north of Italy, close to the Swiss border. This central location in Europe is easy to reach for campers from different countries. They want to camp peacefully by the lake, or they see the campsite as a perfect destination for an active holiday in the mountains.

Facilities

If the water in the lake is a little too cold for you, you can always take a dip in the pool on the campsite. This is located at the entrance. It is a fairly spacious pool, with sun loungers all around. Opposite the swimming pool you will find the restaurant. Not only can you eat here, you can also find information about the surroundings.

Ich kann da keine gute Beurteilung abgeben, weil es nur geregnet hat und dann kam Hochwasser. Da mussten wir ganz schnell abreisen.
Es war auch nicht viel für Kinder geboten. Die Stromversorgung war sehr schlecht.
