The Piccolo Domaso campsite is located on the northwest bank of Lake Como only a few minutes from the town of Domaso. As the name suggests, it is a small campsite, right on the lake. A lovely place for water sports enthusiasts, while the mountains around the lake are an eldorado for hikers and mountain bikers.

Nice little campsite
Piccolo is a nice and well-designed campsite. The camping pitches are of normal size, have grassy ground and offer some shade. There are no separations between the pitches. You share the campsite with Germans, Swiss and English people, mostly water sports enthusiasts. The modern, new sanitation facility looks excellent and is accessible to everyone, even less mobile campers.
From the campsite, you walk through a gate to the lake and the public beach. Swimming, surfing, kite surfing, sailing... you can do it all here. You can also take wonderful hikes and mountain bike tours in the mountains.
Also small in terms of the facilities
Camping Piccolo is also small in terms of its facilities. The reception right in the front also serves as a bar with a terrace with a view of the lake. Great for a morning cappuccino or an aperitif at the end of the day. In nearby Domaso there is a supermarket for daily shopping and shops and restaurants and cafés.
What can you do here?
In addition to all of the sports we've listed, making it possible to have an active holiday, you can also take a boat tour on the lake, such as to cosmopolitan Bellagio, the pearl of Lake Como. Or go to Como, the city that gave the lake its name.
