Fontanelle Campsite is situated on the western shore of Lake Garda in Italy's Lombardy region. Mobile homes in particular fill the terraces at this campsite, but there is also plenty of choice of touring pitches. The nicest pitches are found on the lowest part of the campsite, close to Lake Garda. The view of the lake and mountains is beautiful from several areas of the terraced campsite.

Terrace campsite with mobile homes

As you drive into the campsite, it quickly becomes apparent that you are staying at a terraced campsite. To the left of the entrance are a few more terraces with mobile homes. On the other side the terrain slopes down to the shores of Lake Garda. Most of the campsite is reserved for mobile homes. Those camping in one of these rental properties need to be in luck. Not all of them are that new.

Swimming in Lake Garda

Fontanelle Campsite is a campsite for pure relaxation: sunbathing besides the lake or taking a dip in the campsite pool, which is centrally located on the property. You can also take a swim in Lake Garda. A small pebble beach located at the campsite leads straight into the water.

Waterfront restaurant

The restaurant and camp store are situated on one of the lower terraces near the water. Neither is particularly large but they look great. From the restaurant's terrace you can look out over Lake Garda, while sampling various dishes made with local produce. The store is well stocked and you can certainly find the ingredients for a simple meal there.

Wir hatten über HGHotels einen Komfortstellplatz für den 7-9.4.23 für ein Wohnmobil mit zwei Personen und Hund gebucht. Der Platz wird mit \"hundefreundlich\"beworben, bietet aber nur einen kleinen Strand als \"Auslauffläche\", der auch noch zwischen 22.00-8.00 Uhr verschlossen ist, ansonsten sollen die Hunde den Platz zwischen den Wohnwagen benutzen. Die Toiletten und Waschbecken waren dreckig, im Bereich der Strandbar liefen Ratten über den Strand. Die Nachtruhe wurde durch die Belegung der Bungalows mit Gruppen und den nächtlichen Spaziergängen dieser Mitglieder erheblich gestört. Schwimmbad wurde noch eingerichtet und konnte nicht genutzt werden. Check -in mit Kopie des Personalausweises dauerte zwanzig Minuten/ auf Kritik wurde nicht eingegangen- wichtig war die Kontrolle der Zahlung vor der Abreise \"die Männer wollen das so\"

Laut ACSI soll der Platz bis 31.10.21 offen sein. Leider standen wir am 20.10.21 vor dem geschlossenen Tor !!!

Liked - Die Nähe zum Wasser, die Olivenbäume, die Waschräume, die großen Stellplätze, das Ganze Team vom Campingplatz war sehr hilfsbereit bis auf die Mädchen vom Laden, die waren etwas muffelig!
Disliked - WLAN könnte besser gehen! In der Bar keine Plastikbecher verwenden. Öffnungszeiten vom Laden einhalten!
