Sportcamping & Glamping Resort Rio Vantone lies at a beautiful location on Lake Idro, near the border between Lombardy and Trentino-South Tirol. This four-star campsite has its own surfing school, making it popular among water sports enthusiasts. Its location in a mountainous area makes it an ideal holiday address for those who love mountain sports as well. The campsite also has entertainment for children, a heated outdoor swimming pool and several catering establishments.

Safari tent with views of the stars

It is a delight to camp on one of the small-scale camping fields at this well-kept campsite. There are five categories of touring pitches. If you would like a large pitch near the lake, then choose a comfort water pitch. You can also book a stay in a modern mobile home, safari tent or apartment. One of the safari tents stands out. The ceiling can be unzipped to admire the beauty of the starry skies from the comfort of your bed.

Culinary delights from Lombardy

Lombardy has some of the best food in northern Italy. Enjoy a regional dish at the campsite restaurant Ristorante La Tavolal. The menu includes delicious salads, amazing bruschettas, home-made pizza and delectable regional wines. A tasty drink can be had at Bar Vantù as well. The campsite also an ice-cream parlour, a supermarket and a clothes shop.

Lots of fun outdoors

Enjoy yourself in the swimming pool with wading pool. The youngest campsite visitors will have fun at Villa Bambini, the children's club. They can do crafts here and go on exploratory trips through the woods and along the beach. The beach, which is part of the campsite, is the location of a professional surfing school. Here you can rent water sports items, such as boats, surf boards and standup paddleboards.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

heel mooie camping en prachtig gelegen, aan het meer. Leuke surfschool op de camping waar leerlingen de hele dag surfplanken mogen gebruiken. Mooi restaurant op de camping.
Maar best prijzige camping. In dat verband (en door de naam Glamping Resort) valt sanitair erg tegen in het tweede toiletgebouw - oud en samengeraapt.

Een camping om weer terug te komen. We zijn hier geweest met twee volwassenen, een jong volwassen en een tiener van 13. De camping is niet groot maar heeft alles wat je van een camping mag verwachten. Genoeg te beleven en te doen. Personeel bijzonder vriendelijk. Één sanitair gebouw is wat gedateerd maar voldoet prima en wordt goed schoon gehouden. In de omgeving voldoende fiets (pittig) en wandelmogelijkheden. Ferrata crench vanuit Crone vlakbij is aan te bevelen.
