In the hills of the Italian region of Liguria, not even a kilometre from the Mediterranean Sea, lies the Dei Fiori campsite. The hills on the outskirts of the coastal town of Pietra Ligure boast a stunning view of the rolling landscape. The Dei Fiori campsite is fairly simple in design and great for the whole family, but also has a lot to offer the more active camper. The physical activity options in the area are virtually endless.

Terraced campsite

Even though the campsite is located along a main road that runs directly from Pietra Ligure to the beach, it is actually rather peaceful. The pitches, which are located on terraces, can sometimes be a bit on the tight side, but often receive plenty of shade. You can also opt for a modern mobile home. Some of the spots even feature a glimpse of the Mediterranean Sea.

A refreshing dip

During the hot Italian summer days, a refreshing dip in the on-site swimming pool is rather nice. A hedge of trees provides shade around the pool, which is not particularly large. This is not a problem though, because the Mediterranean Sea is a mere 600 metres away. Pietra Ligure beach is a fantastic place to take in the sea and sun, but you have your choice of beaches along the Italian coast.

Active camping

Those who love physical activity will love it here as well. Ask about the outdoor activity options at the reception area. Of course, the coastal location means that water sports, like windsurfing, sailing and diving, are popular here, but there is plenty to do on solid ground as well. The Italian hills practically beg to be conquered on a mountain bike and the region has many steep areas for climbers.

Liked - The camping is located at walking distance from a supermarket and Pietra Ligure's beaches and train station. The staff (from the reception to cafe's waiters) is nice and helpful, the bathrooms are clean and there are many toilets, sinks and showers so that we never had to queue. Overall the whole camping look well organized and tidy. !00% recommended!
Disliked - Wi-fi is mostly fine, but it could be stronger in the tent area and some other areas of the camping.

Liked - Dei Fiori has a lot of trees, plants and flowers what looks very beautiful!
It is close to the beach and the very nice village Pietra Ligure.

The almost new mobi home was very comfortable.
Disliked - WiFi is not very good

Liked - The location was great. An easy walk into town
We had a nice pitch with hedges either side for privacy. The toilet, shower etc was excellent. We didn't use the pool, mini market, or restaurant but they all looked great. The staff in reception were helpful and spoke good English.
Disliked - The area for recycling outside the gate was disorganised and untidy. People were not using correctly therefore better signage needed plus frequent emptying.
Wifi not good even outside reception area.
Acsi rates did not apply for most of our stay even though it was out of main holiday season.
