Flaminio Village Camping & Bungalow park is a four-star campsite in the north of Rome, which more than deserves its stars. The campsite is magnificently situated, very charming and features a beautiful swimming pool and an excellent restaurant. In short: the perfect city campsite with de luxe facilities. The pitches are small and things can sometimes get crowded, but after all, you've come here to see Rome! You can get to the city by bus (bus stop in front of the entrance) or by bicycle (for rent at the campsite).

Your own camping caravan/tent or luxury bungalow?

There are 260 touring pitches on the campsite. The many trees offer plenty of shade on the numbered or open pitches. Not all pitches are equally nicely situated; some can also be a bit on the cramped side. People preferring lots of privacy will then do best to stay in a rental accommodation. Choose from 130 beautifully situated bungalows. These feature amenities such as bath, heat and A/C, TV, a kitchen, a veranda, loungers and a grill. And a breakfast buffet is included in the price!

Fantastic dining, drinking and swimming

You can enjoy fantastic dining in the large restaurant. There are also lots of tables outside, under colourful parasols. The small camp shop offers a limited assortment but sells fresh bread daily.

At the end of the campsite is the swimming pool with a chic vibe. All around the pool, there are sunbeds with large parasols where you can let yourself drift away. The campsite has an excellent sanitary facility that is spacious and colourfully tiled. It's even decorated with plants! You hear classical music playing all day long – very relaxing.

Travelling party: Couple

This campsite is a wonderful oasis of green, on the outskirts of Central Rome, with both bus and train connections "on the doorstep"! The campsite was spotlessly clean and the restaurant excellent. Security is always a consideration when staying in city environs and the 24hour staffing at the reception/ entrance is very reassuring.
I would recommend this site to anybody wanting to visit The Eternal city for a few days.
