Camping hu I Pini Village is a family campsite about thirty kilometres north of Rome. You camp on a sloping campsite on the edge of a pine forest. Everything is dedicated to young campers. There are special Hello Kitty cottages in which you can stay, and the children's sanitary facilities have been expanded. A beautiful lagoon pool offers safe water fun for the little ones, and the entertainment programme for children is extensive. A campsite shuttle bus will take you to Rome within an hour.

Family camping for the whole family

The name of the campsite tells it all: hu I Pini Village is a campsite for the whole family. The family campsite excels especially in child friendliness. Everything is designed with younger campers in mind. This is reflected in the campsite's guests, especially in high season. Then it's mainly families with children who find a nice camping destination in this campsite near Rome.

Lagoon pool for the little ones

Like everything else, the swimming pools are designed for younger guests. Especially the lagoon pool is a beautiful water playground for the little ones. The water in this pool is very shallow, so even the youngest water lovers can swim safely here. The lagoon pool is beautifully designed with a small hill with a tunnel in the centre, and a wide slide on the side. There is also a slightly deeper, rectangular pool, with a simple paddling pool next to it. Around the pools there is plenty of space for sunbathing. There are plenty of sun loungers, of which there are always some free.

Travelling party: Couple

Nette, schone camping met goed sanitair. Het is vooral een camping voor gezinnen met kinderen. Het zwembad en de animatie is geheel op kinderen afgestemd. Dit houdt in dat van 20.30 tot 23.00 zeer luide kinderanimatie is. Was voor ons een flink nadeel. Receptie spreekt goed Engels en een woordje Nederlands. Met ACSI korting zeer goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding. Goede uitvalsbasis voor Rome via auto of trein.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Kleinschalig camping maar waar de kinderen zich door het (bescheiden) zwembad en speeltoestellen/voetbalveld niet zullen vervelen. Met name kleine kinderen zullen het Lagune bad (et zachte bodem en heuvel en glijbaan) zeer waarderen.

Enorme scherpe prijs, minder dan de helft ten opzichte van de grote campings. De kleinschaligheid is hiervan de oorzaak, maar dat is juist het fijne aan deze camping!

Enige absolute nadeel is dat de supermarkt op de camping echt zeer zeer beperkt is, je kan het eigenlijk geen supermarkt noemen.

Animatie viel ook erg tegen en was zelfs een beetje hinderlijk tijdens de kinderdisco, waar ze met name zichzelf erg grappig vonden. Toen wij er waren in de zomer was er geen Nederlandse animatie.

Camping lijkt te zijn overgenomen, nieuw personeel is iets minder (spreken niet eens allemaal Engels) maar doen wel hun best.

Qua locatie zal je voor de omgeving wel alles met de auto moeten doen. Volgens mij rijdt er wel een shuttle bus naar het stadje onderaan de berg.

Travelling party: Single

Prima camping, schoon en modern, wel een beetje duur. Twee zwembaden, waarvan een om te spelen. Entertainment: ik hoorde elke avond dezelfde deuntjes!
Eén minpunt: de internetverbinding. De camping ligt nogal afgelegen en heeft een matig G4-bereik, en wifi is er alleen in en vlak rond het zwembad.
Ten slotte: het duurste element van het sanitairgebouw op veel campings zijn de ophanghaakjes in de douches...
