Near the town of Montese, situated in a mountainous and wooded area, is the simple, small campsite Ecochiocciola. Here you'll be camping in the Emilia-Romagna region, less touristy than the famous and popular Tuscany, but also definitely worth a visit.

Panoramic view for tent campers
On the basic terraced camping (1 ha) much attention has been paid to the greenery and flowers. The various deciduous, fruit and pine trees provide shade. There are demarcated camping pitches for campers, which boast a lovely view, surrounded by flowers and plants. The 43 touring pitches vary in size from 50 to 75 m2. The campsite is less oriented towards camper vans and caravans, so there are fewer available pitches for them.
Vibrant rental accommodation
In addition to camping pitches, rental accommodation is also available, including eight vibrant wooden cottages. You can also opt for a Hobbit or a tree house as well as a bungalow with a bath and large windows.
Beautiful view from the swimming pool
There is a small swimming pool (99 m2) on the campsite, which may fill up quickly with children at play. From the swimming pool and the sunbathing lawn, you have a beautiful view of the mountain landscape of the Apennines. There is some playground equipment for children and a table tennis table. You can also play volleyball or a game of tennis.
Enjoying global cuisine
The owner Ottavio will prepare meals for the camping guests upon request. He serves very tasty local dishes, but also prepares dishes from around the globe. These are inspired by the faraway lands he has travelled to, such as South America and Nepal. You can get a drink at the bar.
