The terraced campsite Village Camping Santa Fortunata is beautifully located at a high elevation. From here you have a glorious view of Sorrento Bay, the island of Capri and the Vesuvius volcano. On the campsite there is plenty to do for the entire family. Children can go to the playground or the mini club. Adults keep fit in the fitness area. Find out about the guided walking tours from the reception. And of course, the campsite swimming pool is ideal for cooling down.

Each camping pitch is unique

The slightly sloping camping grounds (30 ha) are well maintained with lots of vegetation. There is a vast choice of camping pitches. Each pitch differs in size (80-120 m2). The large pitches with view of the bay are the favourites. There are pitches which are demarcated/not demarcated and pitches with or without shade. Rental accommodation is also available: lodge tents, studios, apartments and bungalows.

Private rocky plateau on the sea

At the lowest point of the campsite is an outdoor swimming pool (150 m2) with loungers. There is a small pool for toddlers. It is a 10 minute descent on a narrow footpath to the stony beach on the rocky coast. This plateau belongs to the campsite. Here you can swim and snorkel in the sea.

Enjoy the South Italian cuisine

Village Camping Santa Fortunata has a well-stocked shop, including fresh bread and breakfast. Obviously, you will start the day with an Italian cup of coffee. When you want to go out for a meal, you have a choice of a pizzeria and a restaurant with South Italian dishes. Take-away meals are also available.

Liked - Great pool area. Excellent night show for the kids and family. Nice staff!
Disliked - A mirror on the car exit on the other side of the road so it’s easier to see if any cars or vespas is coming.
The kid’s night show could start a little bit earlier. 22:00 is a little bit late.

Very noisy due to traffic and surroundings.
Toilet and showers not clean. Good hot water in the showers however.
The beach is a long walk down (and up!)
The sunbeds in the beach are not for free, realy expensive actually. And this is nowhere communicated.
Very good shuttle service to the center!

Liked - The location of camping Village Santo Fortunata is very good as they offer a bus service in and out of Sorrento on a very regular basis. The site is beautifully located overlooking the bay with Mount Verzuvius in the background.
Reception staff were extremely helpful and friendly.
The site facilities are a little worn and perhaps in need of upgrades to the showers and toilets.
The restaurant food was good for a campsite, but it lacked an atmosphere.

really nice campsite and we had a wonderful pitch overlooking the bay. there is a shuttle bus that operates from the site up until 11am and then from 5pm shame it does not run earlier in the afternoon. it took us 20 minutes to walk back so not to bad. we did a trip to capri that u can book at campsite.
we will definately stay here again
