Only a road separates the family campsite Case Vacanza Lungomare from the beach on the Ionian Sea. Here you'll be camping in Calabria, a region which has not yet been affected by mass tourism. This is probably due to its southern location. If you are prepared to travel the distance, you will find a basic, clean campsite in a beautiful region. You can swim here in the clear blue sea.

Well-maintained campsite

This well-maintained campsite (2.1 ha) consists of one hundred touring pitches. You will be provided with a spacious pitch between tall pine trees. You will also find attractive rental bungalows on the campsite. The sanitary facilities are cleaned three times per day during high season. 

Sports on land and in the sea

The campsite has a playground and a sports area. The entertainment programme is only offered in Italian. Sports tournaments for campers are organised on a regular basis. Camping guests of all ages can join fitness sessions in the sea. 

Clear blue sea

If you feel like going for a swim, all you have to do is head towards the beautiful sandy beach. It can be accessed via a gate which is locked at night. The sea at the beach is a beautiful, clear blue. A charming esplanade runs along the beach. As the esplanade ends in a cul-de-sac, there is relatively little traffic. 

Eating out

On the campsite ,you can enjoy a meal in a great restaurant that also serves pizza. You can enjoy a meal on the terrace as well. The campsite organises regular discos. Roughly 200m away, in the village of Cropani Marina, you will find a few shops, eateries and bars.

Travelling party: Single

Der Campingplatz ist absolut geprflegt, aber trotzdem nicht steril. Selbst in Zeiten der Corona-Krise wurde versucht, es den Gästen an nichts mangeln zu lassen und trotz relativ geringer Auslastung das (mutmaßlich) komplette Service-und Animationsprogramm bereitzustellen. Die Animateure geben alles, sind aber zu keiner Zeit aufdringlich. Das dazugehörige Restaurant ist für einen Campinplatz sehr gut. Der dazugehörige Strandabschnitt ist ebenfalles sehr gepflegt und die Liegen kostenlos. Warmes Wasser, WiFi, ... alles ohne Aufpreis. Außerdem spricht ein Teil des Personals (gut) englisch und eine Mitbetreiberin sogar deutsch und kann wertvolle Tipps jeder Art geben. Die Hilfsbereitschaft und Freundlichkeit des Personals geht weit über das hinaus, was man \"erwarten kann\". FAZIT: jeder Zeit wieder!
