Camping Riva di Ugento is located in the most southern part of Italy's 'heel of the boot'. It is a large shady campsite, which stretches out along the Ionian Sea: an ideal place for beach lovers. With shops, restaurants, a swimming pool and sports fields, this large campsite on the Italian coast lacks nothing.

Camping Riva di Ugento is located just south of the town of Ugento, an hour's drive from Lecce. Via the coastal town of Gallipoli you drive on the SS274 in the direction of Ugento, from where it is only a short distance to the coast of the Ionian Sea. There you will find camping Riva di Ugento: a large, well organized campsite.

Shady campsite by the sea

You can choose from as many as 1000 touring pitches, many of which are in the shade. These pitches are quite spacious by Italian standards, especially when you book a comfort pitch. In addition to the many pitches, there are 170 rental accommodations: you can rent different types of mobile homes. The sanitary facilities are generally well-maintained and varied: in many sanitary blocks you will also find children's and baby facilities. Sometimes the sanitary facilities can be cleaned a little better, especially during the peak summer months.

Refreshing dip in the campsite pool

At the campsite there is a swimming pool, where you can - for a fee - take a refreshing dip. But also the various sports fields, the large restaurant with a nice terrace and several shops, including a supermarket and a bazaar.

Liked - Der Strand ist echt gut.
Die Müllentsorgung ist hervorragend…
Disliked - Wir hatten am Anfang des Jahres für 9 Nächte gebucht und auch eine ordentliche Anzahlung geleistet. Auf dem Weg zum CP hatten wir eine Autopanne und haben beim CP bescheid gegeben das wir später als geplant ankommen aber trotzdem die 9 Tage bei Ihnen verbringen möchten.
Als wir ankamen hatten wir 8.-€ für die Buchung bezahlt, was auch völlig in Ordnung ist. Was aber überhaupt nicht geht ist das wir zusätzlich einen Tag bezahlen müssen weil wir 2 Nächte später angereist sind.
Die Toiletten werden nicht gereinigt, sondern nur der Fußboden vom Regen trocken gezogen.

Liked - Ein gelungener und schöner Aufenthalt auf diesem Campingplatz. Sauber und aufgeräumt. Pinienwald wurde als Campingplatz verwandelt. Traum-Stand in unmittelbarer Nähe.
Disliked - Öffnungszeiten um auf dem Campingplatz zu kommen.

Liked - Wir hatten einen tollen Platz nahe am Strand super geschützt und privat durch die tollen Bäume und Sträucher.
Toiletten und Waschräume waren immer sauber und ordentlich.
Restaurant mit tollen Essen und die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten waren super für alles was man auf dem Campingplatz braucht.
Personal Mega freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Kommen nächstes Jahr einen ganzen Monat auf diesen wunderschönen Campingplatz.

Es ist der tollste Campingplatz auf dem wir bis jetzt waren die Stellplätze richtig groß direkt am Meer genug Toiletten, Duschen, Einkaufsmöglichkeit
Das Meer ist ein Traum kristallklares Wasser Kilometer weiter Strand die Mitarbeiter immer freundlich an der Strandbar kann man Frühstück bekommen und auch sonst immer etwas zum Essen oder verschiedene Getränke die Preise sind vollkommen fair und nicht teuer. Das Restaurant werden wir noch ausprobieren es ist immer Betrieb die Besucher die wir gefragt haben sind begeistert. Wir haben uns ein Mietwagen zu dem Campingplatz kommen lassen und werden dann die nächsten Tage mal die Gegend erkunden vor allem Lecce
Wir kommen 100 Prozentig nächstes Jahr wieder und werden dann 4 Wochen bleiben.

Liked - Ich war Ende September da und es war sehr wenig los. Der Strand war traumhaft und fast leer. Der Stellplatz war sehr groß und schön von den Bäumen verschattet. Einfach traumhaft, um sich zu entspannen.
Disliked - Sanitäranlagen könnten etwas modernieisert/besser gewartet sein. Teilweise tröpfelte das Wasser nur aus den Duschen.
