In the heel of Italy's boot, between Lecce and Otranto, lies Agriturismo Fontanelle. This simple family campsite belongs to a farm in the Puglia countryside. You camp on the elongated grassy field behind the farm. A path through the pine forest leads you in five hundred metres to a secluded sandy beach on a beautiful bay.

Grass and olive trees
The campsite is neatly laid out on an elongated grassy field lined with olive trees. The new planting that marks out the pitches will provide additional shade in the future. The campsite is visibly well-maintained. Thirty touring pitches are arranged in two long rows on either side of the lawn. Although they differ in size, none of them is very spacious.
Azure water
At the end of the lawn, you can enter the forest through a gate. A winding forest path leads to a narrow sandy beach, which is embedded in the rocky coast around the Baie dei Turchi. It is about five hundred metres to the beach, so you can walk there in less than ten minutes. The water here is beautifully azure and crystal clear. The small sandy beach is nicely sheltered between the high rocks.
Fresh from the land
The owners of Agriturismo Fontanelle are happy to let you enjoy the products they grow. Fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables are available every day. In the campsite shop you will find everything you need to make the most delicious local dishes: tomatoes, courgettes, aubergines, peppers and onions, but also olive oil and pasta. Eggs, herbs and various fruits are also available, all fresh from the land.
