Camping Santa Maria di Leuca is located in the southeastern region of Apulia. The Italians who live here are the proud inhabitants of Salento. This region, which forms the entire ‘heel of the boot’, is known for its delicious wines and olive groves. Taste Salento's cuisine at this family campsite while you enjoy a live performance on the large patio.

Wooded campsite

The largest part of the wooded campsite is intended for touring campers. Two hundred shaded touring pitches are available. The slightly smaller pitches are suitable for tents, while the pitches for motorhomes and caravans are fairly spacious (by Italian standards). The pine trees form a natural demarcation of the touring pitches, which are mainly located on hard sand. If you prefer to stay in a rental accommodation, that's also possible. Twenty-five mobile homes and ten mini-apartments are available.

Outdoor pool with paddling pool

On a sunny spot in the centre of the campsite there is a large outdoor swimming pool. The rectangular pool is not really special, but it is large and ideal for water games, water aerobics and swimming laps. The smallest swimmers are also catered for. Next to the large pool is a smaller paddling pool with a slide. A nice place for the little ones to play in the refreshing water.

Specialities of Salento

In the high season you can get to taste the southern Italian cuisine of Salento. Because one evening weekly the restaurant is offering a joint buffet with all dishes from the region. During dinner there are live performances, which you can continue to enjoy while you linger at the table.

Travelling party: Single

Ich war 6 Tage mit Auto und Wohnwagen auf dem CP. Ich kenne den Platz von mehreren Aufenthalten, zum Teil auch im Winter, da der Platz ganzjährig geöffnet ist.
Der Platz war sehr voll, kein Wunder in der Woche nach Ferragosto.
Besonders angenehm ist das Schwimmbad, wenn man um 9 Uhr hineingeht = Öffnungszeit, ist man nahezu allein.
Das Restaurant war gut wie immer, die Chefin der Küche Barbara hat wieder gut für einen gesorgt. Und in der Frühe spart man sich Kaffeekochen und geht in die Bar.
Man darf halt gegen laute Musik usw. bis mindestens Mitternacht nicht empfindlich sein. Kinder werden bestens betreut, durch Animateure usw.
