Shaded camping area
At Camping Bosco Selva, you'll be camping on a natural and rugged campsite full of tall trees. The abundance of shady spots contributes to the calm atmosphere on the campsite. There are only forty touring pitches and nine rental units. Even when the campsite is full, which can be the case in the summer months, it is still nice and quiet. The trees provide natural demarcation for the pitches, giving you the feeling of camping freely.
A quick trip to Alberobello
The campsite also lacks a restaurant and supermarket. But you can still order fresh bread in the small campsite shop. And you don't have to drive far for a larger supermarket: the centre of Alberobello is just five minutes away by car. There you have plenty shops and restaurants to choose from.
Trulli capital of Alberobello
You may have already seen some on the way to the campsite: trulli. Alberobello is the real Italian 'trulli capital', famous for the white limestone houses with their conical roofs. These trulli, which originated in the late fourteenth century, were said to be easy to build and, above all, cheap. Most trulli can be seen in the Rione Monte and Aia Piccola districts.
