A three-star campsite in the Irish countryside
The campsite's grounds are a stone's throw from the historical Westport House (800 m), a country estate that is over 300 years old and that nowadays serves as the setting for a range of activities. This adds a touch of Irish history to the dense forests, green hills and babbling rivers characterising the area.
At the campsite, you can choose from various camping experiences, ranging from traditional camping pitches to luxury glamping tents with beds, outdoor furniture and your own barbecue set. Whatever you prefer, you always have views of the beautiful countryside, including Ireland's sacred mountain: Croagh Patrick.
With all modern conveniences
Westport House offers all the modern conveniences for a relaxing stay. As well as the basic amenities, there is a café and a little shop for fresh coffee and snacks.
For recreation, go to the swimming pool, the sauna, gym or the indoor gaming zone. And if you would like to learn more about the history of the 300-year-old Westport House, go on a guided tour full of art, old objects and stories about kings and pirates.
