A three-star campsite in the Irish countryside

The campsite's grounds are a stone's throw from the historical Westport House (800 m), a country estate that is over 300 years old and that nowadays serves as the setting for a range of activities. This adds a touch of Irish history to the dense forests, green hills and babbling rivers characterising the area.

At the campsite, you can choose from various camping experiences, ranging from traditional camping pitches to luxury glamping tents with beds, outdoor furniture and your own barbecue set. Whatever you prefer, you always have views of the beautiful countryside, including Ireland's sacred mountain: Croagh Patrick.

With all modern conveniences

"The campsite, with good amenities, is located in Westport Country Park. The park offers a lot of recreational opportunities, such as boating, mini train, pub, pedalo, tennis court, etc. Next to the park are possibilities for sea fishing, sailing and walks on the beach. Recreational possibilities for children, both indoor and outdoor. Lovely country estate, worth a visit."

Travelling party: Seniors

Used the site as a base for the Greenway cycle. Excellent cycle way along the Wild Atlantic way following the old Railroad Track to Achill.
