Renovations

Pelso Camping is a four-star campsite, but this is according to Hungarian standards. And although investments have been made in new mobile homes, the facilities are somewhat lacking for the touring campers. The camping pitches are shady and neatly separated by hedges, but they are not big and the drainage doesn't always work well. A lot of the sanitary facilities have been renovated in recent years, but the work has not yet been completed in some places.

Warm water

Pelso Camping is situated on Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe and an important tourist attraction. The campsite can be found on the northern shore of the lake and has its own grassy bank across the entire length of the camping grounds. Because Lake Balaton has an average depth of just three metres, the water is pleasantly warm in the summer and is, therefore, also highly suitable for children to swim in. 

Swimming pool and natural pool

Pelso Camping has all sorts of facilities in and on the lake. For example, there are water slides into the lake, goals and basketball nets in the water, as well as a floating playground with play equipment on the water.

Pelso Camping also has a heated outdoor swimming pool with a water slide. The swimming pool and the lake form a varied water park. On the lake, you can go fishing, sailing and windsurfing, but motorboats are prohibited on Lake Batalon.
