Camping Ouranoupoli is situated directly by the sea, along the access road to the Mount Athos peninsula, which is part of the larger Halkidiki peninsula. The Mount Athos peninsula is a monastic republic, an autonomous area which is only accessible to men. The village of Ouranopoli is within walking distance of the campsite.

Crystal-clear seawater
The campsite grounds are well-maintained and look neat and tidy. The campsite is situated directly by the beach so that you can fully enjoy the sandy beach and the crystal-clear water.
Well-maintained pitches
The pitches are of average size and many have a sunshade. The separate area for campers with caravans and camper vans has views of the sea. The pathways are paved and the pitches are situated on grass. Luxury caravans by the beach as well as luxury bungalows and apartments are available for rent. In the peak season, the permanent pitches are occupied by Greek and Bulgarian families, and tourists from Eastern and Western Europe come and stay here. In the low season, Greek and Bulgarian families come and stay on the weekends, and there are also many seniors from Western Europe.
Traditional Greek food
The shop has a limited range of basic supplies and local produce such as wine and olive oil. The charming restaurant is located directly on the beach and has a fine menu with traditional Greek dishes. The sanitary facilities are located centrally on the campsite, and they are well-maintained and clean. There are facilities available for the disabled.
Monastery cruise
Taking a cruise from Ouranoupoli along the Athos coast to see the monasteries is a must.
