At this campsite, you will be staying in a beautiful natural area where volcanic activity was very much alive and well thousands of years ago. The results are still visible today, including the special crater lakes that formed there. One of these lakes is the Laacher See, on which the Camping RCN Laacher See campsite is located. RCN Laacher See has a neatly laid out camping site, which includes an excellent restaurant, modern sanitary facilities and a varied entertainment programme in the high season.

Camping with a view of the lake

After registering at the reception desk, you can drive along neatly paved paths to your pitch. It quickly becomes apparent that this is a very well organised and maintained site. The pitches are demarcated by hedges. They vary considerably in size and amount of shade. From some of the higher spots, you have a nice view of the lake. A number of sites are even located directly on the water.

A refreshing dip in the crater lake

One of the great advantages of RCN Laacher See is its location directly on the recreational lake of the same name. In this crater lake, you can safely take a nice refreshing dip. Camping guests have free access to the lake and its sunbathing areas.

Dancing, crafts and scavenger hunts

In addition to water fun, there are many other forms of entertainment at this campsite. For example, in the high season, there is an entertainment programme. This is especially geared toward the youngest campers. Take Fun2Dance, for example. All the children at the campsite can go wild under the musical guidance of the entertainment team.

Travelling party: Couple

Lovely site next to large lake for watersports. Huge sanitary facilities kept immaculate all day. Lovely restaurant and takeaway available. Small shop on site for morning bread order. Highly recommended
