Schaalsee-Camp is a small campsite in the Lauenburg lake district in northern Germany. The terrain is idyllic and peaceful. All pitches are beautifully situated in the woods. With the many routes laid out in the area, it is also perfect for hiking and cycling enthusiasts. If you'd like to go on a canoe adventure, various canoe trips leave from the campsite’s own canoe and SUP station. The nearby lake is a great place to swim.

Fun together around the campfire
This basic campsite only has touring pitches, teepee tents and covered wagons. As a rule, a pitch in the woods is somewhat smaller than a pitch by the water. Do take a citronella candle with you to keep any mosquitos at bay. At 22.00, complete silence descends. Until that time, you can enjoy an informal and fun evening outdoors at the campfire location.
Out and about with the canoe
Water lovers will soon feel right at home here because of its location between the Schaalsee and the Salmersee. You can go on a canoe trip for one or more days on these lakes. Such an extraordinary excursion is easy to book at the campsite. Small groups leave from the jetty and fun information about the surrounding area is given while canoeing. If you would like to go swimming or rent an SUP, you can do that in one of the lakes, too.
Excursions by bicycle or on foot
Wooded areas and water largely dominate the landscape, making it a beautiful area for hiking and bicycle rides. You can find village charm in Ratzeburg or Mölln. Hanzestad Lübeck is only 30 kilometres away.
