At the sunny north coast of Germany lies the island of Fehmarn. Within cycling distance of the town of Burg, in a very unique location, lies Campingplatz Ostsee Katharinenhof. Surrounded by nature and directly at the sea is the well-tended campsite where young and old enjoy the space and peace.

A few steps to the beach

As soon as you reach the well laid-out campsite, you will feel the relaxed mood and you will instantly see the homely reception building. Via a short footpath through the woods you will reach the quiet sandy beach. On the camping square you will find a small supermarket and the restaurant with a cosy terrace.

Camping on spacious pitches

The friendly character of the campsite is expressed in the neat green landscaping. Campers make the most of the favourable location at the side of the island where there is less wind. The sanitary facilities are well looked after and heated. There are specially adapted sanitary facilities for children. People with disabilities can also use adapted facilities in the same building.

Animals and play grounds

Animals are well loved at Campingplatz Ostsee Katharinenhof Dogs are welcome and on the grounds there are goats and a donkey. There are also small ponies for children to ride. Teenagers and adults will enjoy nature tours. The three play grounds on the camping will provide hours of fun.

Diving in the German sea

Apart from walking and cycling, the Baltic Sea is also an ideal location for water sports enthusiasts. Campingplatz Ostsee Katharinenhof is the only campsite on the island with a diving school and an oxygen filling station. Together with an experienced instructor beginning and experienced divers can explore the wonderful underwater world.

Toller Platz mit riesigen Plätzen (auf dem neuen Platzteil). Freundliches Personal. Mit Hunden kann man sehr gut Gassi gehen, ohne die anderen Platzbewohner beeinträchtigen zu müssen. Sanitärgebäude absolut top und sauber (neuer Platzteil). Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Hier werden Veranstaltungen gemacht die nicht zu einem Campingplatz passen!
Viel zu laut, viel zu oft, hallt über den ganzen Platz. Ist dem ansonsten gut organisiertem Platz nicht angemessen. Platzruhe, in der Mittagszeit und nach 22 Uhr ist auf den Spielplätzen auch nicht gegeben. Das haben wir so noch auf keinem anderen Platz so extrem erlebt

Der Katharinenhof ist ein ausgesprochen professinonell geführter Campingplatz. Das Personal ist überaus zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Augenblick sehr gut aufgehoben. Einziger Wermutstropfen aus unserer Sicht sind die Unmengen an Hunden auf dem Platz (aber dafür kann der Betreiber ja nichts)!!

Wir haben uns auf einen Campingplatz gefreut und sind auf einem Hundeplatz gelandet. Jeden Tag nur ein abartiges kleffkonzert, die Halter sind nicht in der Lage ihr Tier zu beherrschen. Dann noch zu bequem zeitig genug die Gassi Runde zu gehen und schon pinkeln und sch..... Die Tiere dann auf den nächst gelegenen Platz, auf dem vielleicht demnächst ein kleines Kind spielt.
Sehr schade für den Betreiber.....die Sanitäranlagen sind top und auch der Platz wird gepflegt.

Auf dem neuen Platzteil sehr großzügige Parzellen mit Frisch- und Abwasserversorgung, sowie selbstverständlich Strom. Auch der WLAN-Empfang war sehr gut.

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Mit dem ganzen Team hier sind wir sehr zufrieden. Alle sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Ein großes Lob möchte ich nicht versäumen auszusprechen: wir hatten vergessen, unsere 50 € Anzahlung zu überweisen. Anstatt uns einfach den Platz zu nehmen, hat man uns angerufen und freundlich darauf hingewiesen. Wir waren dem Team sehr dankbar für diese Geste.
Der Stellplatz ist sehr schön, umgeben von einer sehr hohen Hecke, welche auch den Wind abhält. Die Rasenflächen sind sehr gepflegt. Das sanitär ist vorbildlich ausgestattet mit Desinfektionsmittel für die Hände und auch für die Toilettenbrille. Alles ist sehr sauber! Ich habe für das sanitär nur vier Sterne gegeben und nicht fünf, weil in der einen oder anderen Dusche der schwarze Schimmelpilz in den unteren Ecken und Kanten vorhanden war. Ansonsten war alles Picco Bello.
Die Umgebung ist ausgezeichnet zum Radfahren und erkunden der ganzen Insel. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder. Diesen Platz können wir mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist auch super!
