Camp David Sport Resort is in the west of the German state of Saxony, close to the village of Rackwitz and about 15 kilometres north of Leipzig. The campsite is very popular among water sports fans and various nationalities. Here, you camp right by Schladitzer See, a recreational lake where people enjoy various water sports. From the campsite you can do things including sailing, canoeing, standup paddleboarding, surfing, swimming and have fun playing and climbing on the inflatable water playground. There are also plenty of options for sports and active enjoyment on land. Additionally, there is a restaurant, a beach club and a snack bar.

What accommodation options are there?
At Camp David Sport Resort touring pitches have been created at three spots, spread across the site. There are also two fields specially for campers with tents. As a camper, you can use the four well-maintained toilet blocks that are spread over the site. If you like a bit more comfort, you could opt for glamping. There are luxury holiday homes, lovely mobile homes and traditional yurts. You are welcome to bring your dog to Camp David Sport Resort. However, pets are not welcome in the mobile homes or yurts.
Enjoy a Spanish meal at Restaurant Levante
There are several eateries spread over the campsite. If you want an extensive dinner out, Restaurant Levante is the place to go. The menu has mainly Spanish dishes and tapas. There is also a lovely beach club by the beach volleyball field. The closest large supermarket is in Rackwitz (2.5 km).
