Campingplatz Dresden-Mockritz lies in a Dresden suburb. Although the campsite is located in town, it looks very green and has a large number of big, old trees. The terrain makes a spacious impression. In peak season it is often very busy on the campsite. Especially in late afternoon lots of new campers use this as an overnight stop on their way to, for instance, the Czech Repulic.

Camping next to a natural swimming pond
As the terrain is not entirely level, you have to be careful where to park your motorhome, caravan or tent. The front portion of the grounds has a lot of old, big trees. The section at the back is slightly smaller and the pitches there are separated by hedges and shrubbery.
Next to the campsite you will find a reasonably sized natural swimming pond with a large, green lawn with play equipment for children. There is also a special field for tents. This terrain partly borders the swimming pond and is separated by a fence. You can also rent a mobile home or one of the seven bungalows.
Shop and restaurant
The shop near the reception stocks basic necessities for guests, but there are sufficient supermarkets in Dresden (also in the suburb of Mockritz). The restaurant is housed in the same building as the reception. You can eat al fresco on a terrace with modern chairs and tables. The restaurant has a fine cuisine with a full menu at reasonable prices.
Renovated sanitary facilities
The sanitary facilities have recently been entirely renovated; only the outer walls are still the same. A baby room was added and there are also separate children's sanitary facilities (to be opened with a key).
