Enjoy going on idyllic walks through the forest during your holiday? Then you should definitely consider a stay at this campsite located just outside Losheim am See in the German state of Saarland. Here you'll be camping in the middle of expansive forests in a beautiful low mountain range. Losheim am See Campsite is also located right on the Stausee Losheim reservoir. There is a sandy beach with water sports facilities right next to the campsite. This campsite began undergoing major renovations in 2021. Renovations will continue through 2023 and 2024. The sanitary facilities, camping pitches, rental accommodations, reception and catering area, among other parts of the campsite, will all receive a major makeover.

Spend the night in a retro caravan

At Losheim am See Campsite, the tourist camping pitches are generally located along the edges of the site. A separate field has been set up near the lake for tent campers. This campsite also offers various types of rental accommodations, such as hikers' cabins, chalets and tiny houses. Are you looking for a truly unique and nostalgic experience? Then spend the night in a retro caravan. The campsite rents out a number of refurbished vintage caravans from the 1960s.

A popular recreational lake

There is a beautiful sandy beach close to the campsite. You can enjoy swimming in the lake there. The large sunbathing area and the waterslide help make it even more enjoyable. It can be crowded in sunny weather, especially during weekends and holidays, due in part to the arrival of residents from this region. This popular lake also offers water sports activities. In addition to swimming, you can go diving, sailing, surfing, stand up paddle boarding, canoeing and pedal boating.

Travelling party: Seniors

Eine Schande was hier passiert. Dauercamper werden nach fast40 Jahren vom Platz geworfen. Camper sind hier nicht mehr willkommen. Platz Gebühr wurde drastisch erhöht. Sanitäranlagen sind geschlossen obwohl hunderte Dauercamper am abbauen sind.
