Camping Clausensee is located in the vast wooded areas of the northern Vosges, just outside the town of Waldfischbach-Burgalben (Rijnland-Palts). You camp here in a wonderfully quiet spot from where you can follow great hiking and cycling trails through the Pfälzerwald (Palatine Forest). The sunbathing area by the recreational lake is the biggest eye-catcher at this beautifully kept campsite.

What accommodation options are there?
At Camping Clausensee, you can book a stay on a spacious pitch or in a cosy hiker's cabin or a mobile home. Regular pitches are available for touring campsite visitors. The campsite also has special motorhome pitches and a meadow for campsite visitors with tents. If you would rather rent an accommodation, the Blaues Haus (Blue House) comes highly recommended. This charming furnished holiday home is right next to the lake.
Plenty of water recreation on and around the Clausensee
The Schwarzbach river causes a pleasant stream flows through the campsite. One of the winding side branches discharges into the Clausensee. The campsite has a great sunbathing area in front of this recreational lake. Here you can enjoy the outdoor life by the lake on the grass or in the sand, where you can swim safely. The water remains shallow for quite a distance. You can also go on the lake on a pedal boat or an SUP board, both of which can be rented at the campsite.
Lovers of yoga will also feel at home here. Yoga classes are also often offered at this campsite. If you want more of a challenge, book a yoga lesson on an SUP board in the middle of the lake! A relaxing day can be closed off at the campsite restaurant Fischerhaus am Clausensee with its charming Biergarten (beer garden).
