Just outside of the charming village of Stadtkyll, in the centre of the Eifel mountain range, lies Camping Wirfttal. This holiday park has green grounds with many differences in height. In the ‘lower’ area, the Wirft river flows and there is a small recreational lake, whereas higher up you enjoy an impressive view of the mountainous surroundings. This is an ideal family campsite with numerous facilities and activities for children up to about 12 years old.

Level camping section and accommodation on a hill

The touring pitches and safari tents are near the lake and along the Wirft river, on the level section of the campsite. The modern and luxury bungalows and holiday homes are on a hill. The highest point of the site is eighty metres above the main facilities. Good to keep in mind if you have restricted mobility or are travelling with a lot of baggage or with prams. Check the map of the campsite beforehand and be sure to indicate your preferences when reserving.

Holiday for your faithful four-footed friend

This resort rents out bungalows reserved for dogs. With a dog cage, dog basket, warm dog shower and enclosed garden, these accommodations offer everything you need for a comfortable stay for your four-legged friend. The campsite also has a dog playing area and a dog track.

Entertainment for the entire family

Powering a pedal boat around the lake, playing in the playgrounds, doing crafts in the studio and enjoying sports in the Sports Arena are only a few of the activities in which you can participate. And there is also a new NXT LVL games room that is filled with creative games. There is fun to be had in the campsite’s swimming pool, which has a large basic pool and a wading pool with a slide.

Travelling party: Seniors

We zijn hier voor 5 dagen geweest. We stonden achterin een daardoor een rustige plaats. Mooi uitzicht vlakbij een klein beekje. Het terrein is redelijk vlak, met gras over het algemeen ruime plaatsen. Verzorging ok. Maaien etc kan beter. Toilet gebouw was over het algemeen schoon, wel beperkt aantal douches. Degelijk maar geen uitblinkend sanitair, douches relatief klein en afzet ruimte ontbreekt in de douche. Druk knop systeem, om de 5-10 seconden drukken. Watertap punten ontbreekt; alleen bij toilet gebouw. Prima broodjes services in de ochtend. Over het algemeen vriendelijk personeel. Mooie omgeving. Veel pizza restaurants in de omgeving, Balkan en een Chinese. Aanrader is de lokale slager, prima vlees voor de BBQ. Leuk meertje vlakbij -Kronenburg- om te zwemmen en waterfietsen etc. Grote camping zonder dat je gevoel hebt op een grote camping te staan. Prijs kwaliteit is prima! Minpunt zijn de extra kosten van de WiFi. 12,50 per dag is geen kostprijs toch? Zwembad moest met app geboekt worden, maar was altijd vol geboekt.
