Camping Harfenmühle is in the west of Germany, in the heart of the Hunsrück nature reserve. This friendly family campsite is between the famous wine regions of Nahe and Mosel. There is a swimming lake in the middle of the lovely site, ideal for children. The campsite restaurant is known as being good and offers a varied menu. The location on the Deutschen Edelsteinstrasse (German Gemstone road) is exceptional, this region has been known for its gemstones for hundreds of years.

Families who appreciate peace and quiet and the countryside can spend a relaxing holiday here in surroundings that have not yet been discovered by the masses. Several small villages are within driving distance of five to 10 kilometres.

Pleasant, open pitches

The unmarked camping pitches are playfully laid out and do not have demarcation. They are spread over the site, which is not completely level, but is divided into terraces. All camping pitches are surrounded by hedges and trees. If you hire a chalet or mobile home, you will be staying in a lovely part in the valley where the permanent pitches are. The toilet and washing facilities are modern and neat.

Paradise in the countryside

Go paddling, swimming, down the slide or splash about in the water; you can do it all in the swimming lake. Children have the upper hand at this campsite and that's clear from the fun activities in the high season. As genuine adventurers, children can take part in the search for gemstones and fool's gold in the brook at the campsite in the summer months every day for free. There is also a playground and a bouncy castle.

Travelling party: Seniors

Wir haben in der Coronazeit diesen Platz entdeckt und unsere Fellnase fühlt sich super wohl. Es gibt hier viele Wanderwege, es gibt das tägliche Edelsteinsuchen für Kinder. Unser Hund darf mit ins Restaurant und wird immer herzlich begrüßt. Und vorallem an Silvester gilt: böllerfreie Zone.

Sehr schön gelegen. War fast 25 Jahre dort als Dauercamper ! War mit allem sehr zufrieden! Meine Enkelkinder sind auf diesem Platz groß geworden! Musste leider aus persönlichen Gründen damit aufhören! Besuche ihn aber immer wieder und gönne mir auf der schönen außen Terrasse ein leckeres Essen , das von dem freundlichen Personal serviert wird ! Es ist ein super schöner Familienbetrieb der immer rührend um seine Gäste kümmert !

Die Besitzer (Personal) sind super freundlich und sehr engagiert für die Kinder. Die Edelsteinjagd ist die Hauptattraktion. Kinder (und Eltern) lernen auch, dass Wasser super viel Spaß macht, wenn es kein tropisches Badeparadies ist. Der Campingplatz ist auch nicht überorganisiert.
