Camping Erden is a beautifully situated campsite on the banks of the Moselle river, not far from Erden and Bernkastel-Kues (Rheinland-Pfalz). This region is famous for its wonderful Rhine and Moselle valleys. Enjoy the river and the passing boats, the beautiful historical towns, the impressive castles and, of course, the countless vineyards, wine tastings and lively wine festivals. This campsite will immediately help you appreciate the beautiful landscape: many pitches offer wonderful views of the vineyards on the other side of the river.

Well equipped

Right in front of you, you will find the seasonal pitches. The touring pitches are located on a large camping field further down on the right-hand side. They are accessible via a paved road, Interspersed with the odd tree. The grounds look well-cared for and you have a beautiful panoramic view almost everywhere you go.

Beautiful pitches by the Moselle river

The camping pitches are not demarcated, but they are numbered. They have a grass surface and provide sufficient space. The most beautiful spots are located right on the banks of the Moselle river. The sanitary facilities are clean, but not very modern. Dogs are welcome at campsite Erden. There is even a separate playing and training field for your faithful four-legged friend.

Swimming in the river

You will not find a swimming pool at this campsite, but you can go swimming in the river. There is also a restaurant with a conservatory where you can sit in comfort. The light menu offers good food. A small shop is located in the reception building. Visit Bernkastel for a larger selection of supplies.

Travelling party: Family with children <4 years

As Canadian tourists this was a gem to find. beautiful conveniently located campground the staff were so kind and the scenery breath taking. Perfect for popping by for the night and you must enjoy a meal at the restaurant. We were very pleased with this piece of heaven
