In beautiful natural surroundings in the Wiedtal, you'll find the Zum stillen Winkel campsite. Here you can really relax, surrounded by the countryside of the German Rhineland-Palatinate. You can camp on ample pitches close to the river Wied. Children can play in and around the river, and in the pretty forest which borders the campsite all holiday long. If you want a little more buzz, you can visit Coblenz or Cologne, both of which are nearby.

A friendly Dutch family manages the Zum stillen Winkel campsite, and makes sure that everyone can enjoy their holiday in peace and quiet. They are happy to help you find out about various daytrips. From the campsite, you can walk into the forest, and there are lovely hiking and cycling paths. The pitches are on well-maintained lawn in amongst the trees, which will make you feel like you are camping in a park. Many of the pitches have electricity, water, and a TV connection. It's also possible to rent one of the holiday homes.

Food delivered directly to your table

There's a mini supermarket at the campsite, and you can buy fresh bread rolls every day. There are no restaurants, but the owners have a great arrangement with one of the local restaurants. You can order food from them, and they will deliver it directly to your pitch.

The camping feeling

The Dutch owners make every effort to create the ultimate 'camping in the countryside' feeling, and they sometimes organise a spontaneous evening around the campfire. If that's not real camping, we don't know what is!

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Net terug van ons tweede bezoek. Nu met de hele familie geweest, mooie, grote plek. Zwemmen in de Wied, met name bij warm weer, raden wij af. Het water wordt niet gemonitord en onze zwemmers waren alle 5 behoorlijk ziek! Zwembad dus, bv in het nabij gelegen Hausen. Uit eten ging niet met zieke kinderen, maar pizzabezorgservice Uluday brengt snitsels etc tot aan de tent. Handig en lekker.

de camping ligt heel mooi in het dal, de plekken vielen onos tegen. We stonden erg dicht op andere campeerders.
wat je ook mist op deze camping is de mogelijkheid om iets te drinken of eten.
er waren ook erg veel honden op de camping.

We kregen de plaats die we zwelt uitzochten aan het water. Super sanitair. Mooie route gefietst langs de Wiet naar de Rijn en terug!

Zeer rustige camping in mooie omgeving. Wij hadden zeer ruime plek met zicht op het riviertje. We hadden van te voren gereserveerd en waren verzekerd van een mooie plek. Net en ruim sanitair. Mooie wandelmogelijkheden en leuke dorpjes of stadjes in de nabije omgeving. Camping voor natuurgenieters en rustzoekers.

Zeer mooi gelegen “groene” Camping met ruime plaatsen, veel rust en stilte, mooie natuur, roofvogels en zelfs een ree op de camping.De eigenaar is zakelijk vriendelijk, broodjes service aanwezig, het sanitair is wel dik 5* maar omdat er 2x over geen warme douches waren geef ik 4* Wij vonden het al met al een heerlijke Camping waar we zeker nog eens terug zouden komen, aanbevelingswaardig .

Zijn hier 4 dagen geweest, mochten geen plaats kiezen. Hadden wel een zeer ruime plek.
Nadeel was je kon er slecht uit met de caravan…heel smal pad met overhangende takken. Sanitair was prachtig.

Korte vakantie op dit park. Vriendelijke ontvangst met ruime keuze uit plaatsen. Zowel zon als schaduw. Zeer rustige omgeving, zowel overdag als ‘s nachts. Prachtig sanitair cq complete badkamer. Lekker ruim! Iedere dag verse broodjes, helaas geen croissants. Omgeving leent zicht goed voor wandelen. MTB kan ook maar vooral over houthakkerspaden. Je komt, na flink klimmen, wel op mooie uitzichtpunten terecht.

Hele leuke camping met heel fijn personeel. Wij hebben genoten en komen volgend jaar weer terug!
