If so, Campingplatz Am Furlbach near to the city of Schloß Holte, in the east of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia, is a good choice. This hospitable family campsite is an ideal starting point for lovely walks through the countryside. Furthermore, at Campingplatz Am Furlbach, you can book a spacious pitch for a reasonable price.

Camping on a forested site

Campingplatz Am Furlbach is a reasonably large campsite, but you notice little of that when camping there. That's because a large part of the campsite is in the forest. Tent campers can pick their own pitch in the densely forested section at the rear of the site. The other camping pitches are neatly demarcated. You can also choose to stay in a luxury holiday home.

Playing, fishing and romping around

There are several fun playgrounds and sports facilities spread over the campsite. Furthermore, it's lovely to play in the Furlbach on hot days. This stream is only 250 metres further along and has slow flowing water that reaches knee-height. There is also a fishing pond where you can go fishing.

Walk through Teutoburg Forest

The area is particularly interesting for cycling and walking enthusiasts. The Furlbachtal and around the Moosheide are lovely walking routes for example. Slightly to the east, there is an even larger nature reserve, the Teutoburg Forest. The Externsteine (30 km) are also recommended. This is a series of lovely rock formations that tower high above the surrounding natural landscape.

Travelling party: Family with children, 12 - 18 years

Dat de slagboom ook nog tussen 12 en 15 dicht is kan echt niet meer met tegenwoordig de vele campers. Sanitair in de 4 dagen dat we er stonden niet schoon gemaakt. Vuil lag er al dagen op de grond. Alleen de omgeving was geweldig.
