In North Rhine-Westphalia in the north of Germany, Campingpark Heidewald is nestled in the Münsterland. The campground, near the town of Sassenberg, is located in a green environment of the Feldmark recreation area, only a stone's throw away from the Feldmarksee. Driving through the lovely entrance, you'll find peace in the green environment of trees, bushes and grassy fields.

Sleeping in a wine barrel

The campground has a large reception, with a coffee corner where you will be given a friendly welcome. The route to the camping field is clearly marked and leads along the comfort and seasonal campsites. The open campsites at the back of the campground are spacious and the terrain is very well cared for. Want to do something completely different? For a special experience you can also choose to overnight in a big wine barrel.

Provided with all comforts

You'll find everything you need for your holiday on site. The toilet facilities and the wash room are clean and functional and there is a separate disabled toilet. At the front of the campground there is a camping shop for the most important groceries and if you can't find everything you need there, you can go to the supermarket in nearby Sassenberg (2 km).

Water fun at the Feldmarksee

Kids can have fun in the playground with some play equipment or play a round of ping pong or volleyball. For animal lovers, there is a little children's zoo with goats, rabbits and chickens. In the high season, extra activities are organised by the activities team. Love the water? You can walk through the woods (800 metres) from the campground to the recreation lake, the Feldmarksee.

Super Campingplatz im Münsterland.
Super nettes und freundliches Personal.
Der Platz ist sehr sauber. Sanitäranlagen sind sauber und sehr modern.
Wir waren ein verlängertes Wochenende. Werden garantiert nochmal dort hin.

Sehr schön angelegter Campingplatz mit einem kleinen Teich mit Fischen. Das Sanitärhaus 1 ist super schön. Große Duschen und Einzelwaschkabinen. Toll für kleine Kinder und auch für Grosse.

Wir sind sehr oft hier und genießen die Ruhe und die ganzen Atmosphäre,
Sehr freundlich und sauber, es wird in kommende Wochen teilweise renoviert was zeigt das die Familie sehr daran interessiert sind das beste für ihre Gäste zu bieten.

Mein Mann und ich sind Dauercamper auf dem Campingplatz und können daher unsere zweijährigen Erfahrungen hier teilen. Wir haben uns sehr bewusst für diesen Campingplatz entschieden, da er einen sehr gepflegten Eindruck machte. Diese Eindruck hat sich über die Jahre bestätigt. Die Sanitäranlagen werden mehrmals täglich gesäubert und waren immer in sehr guten Zustand. Das Personal ist ausgesprochen freundlich, hilfsbereit und geduldig. Wir finden, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis angemessen ist. Für Kinder besteht in umfangreiches Angebot wie Spielplatz mit großem Hüpfkissen, Spielgeräte etc und einem ausgemusterten Bus, in welchem bei schlechtem Wetter Indoorbeschäftigung angeboten wird. Es wird ein Verleih von großen Go-cards, (mit denen bis zu vier Personen fahren können) und Fahrrädern angeboten. Das Essen in der Pizzeria ist sehr zu empfehlen, aber im gehobenen Preisbereich. Sportangebote auf dem Platz selber Sind mir nicht bekannt, aber auf der gegenüberliegenden Straßenseite hat man sofort Zugang zu Fitnessgeräten und Möglichkeiten zum Walken und Joggen. Das Freibad des Feldmarksees ist zu Fuß in fünf Minuten erreichbar; nicht zu reden von dem hervorragenden Fahrradwegenetz mit Knotenpunktsystem. In der Umgebung gibt es noch viele weitere Angebote für Sportler, vor allem Reitsport, Kulturliebhaber usw.
Wir jedenfalls fühlen uns pudelwohl! Ach ja, Hunde sind an der Leine auch gerne gesehen.
