Sleep in a wine barrel
The campsite has 120 pitches and 20 rental accommodations, four of which have their own toilet and washing facilities. The pitches are divided into three classifications, going from standard, with a 16-ampere electricity connection, to comfort, which is more spacious and has water and drainage connections. The premium pitches are right next to the river.
From kayak to sauna
There is plenty to do on this large campsite. Enjoy freshly baked rolls with your breakfast every morning, and in the evening pull up a chair in the campsite restaurant.
Play a game of jeu de boules, kick a ball around the football field or take your bats along for a fanatic game of table tennis. There is also a fun playground and the campsite rents out kayaks and bicycles.
Camping Hetzingen is unique in that it has a sauna. You can relax here with a view of the fortifications.
On foot or on a bicycle?
Camping Hetzingen is a perfect spot for nature lovers, cycling enthusiasts and hikers. There are literally 300 kilometres of footpaths and cycle routes at your feet. The medieval town of Nideggen, known for the fortifications that can be seen from the campsite, is two kilometres away.
The Roermeer is 11 kilometres away, where you can go for a refreshing swim, rent a small boat or go sailing.
