Camping Hetzingen is in the German town of Nideggen, near the Eifel National Park. You camp right by the Roer river. Spend your holiday with a view of the historic fortifications of the town of Nideggen, less than three hours’ drive from Utrecht. The campsite is open all year round.

Sleep in a wine barrel

The campsite has 120 pitches and 20 rental accommodations, four of which have their own toilet and washing facilities. The pitches are divided into three classifications, going from standard, with a 16-ampere electricity connection, to comfort, which is more spacious and has water and drainage connections. The premium pitches are right next to the river.

From kayak to sauna

There is plenty to do on this large campsite. Enjoy freshly baked rolls with your breakfast every morning, and in the evening pull up a chair in the campsite restaurant.

Play a game of jeu de boules, kick a ball around the football field or take your bats along for a fanatic game of table tennis. There is also a fun playground and the campsite rents out kayaks and bicycles.

Camping Hetzingen is unique in that it has a sauna. You can relax here with a view of the fortifications.

On foot or on a bicycle?

Camping Hetzingen is a perfect spot for nature lovers, cycling enthusiasts and hikers. There are literally 300 kilometres of footpaths and cycle routes at your feet. The medieval town of Nideggen, known for the fortifications that can be seen from the campsite, is two kilometres away.

The Roermeer is 11 kilometres away, where you can go for a refreshing swim, rent a small boat or go sailing.

Travelling party: Single

Der Platz ist von Dauercampern geprägt. Die sonst üblichen Bretterverschläge halten sich jedoch in Grenzen. Die Sanitäreinrichtung ist etwas dunkel, aber gut gepflegt. Die Stellplätze für Touristen sind etwas klein ausgefallen. Manko: Man wird ungefragt geduzt. Ikea lässt grüßen.

Idyllisch gelegener, persönlich geführter und sehr gepflegeter Campingplatz an der Rur mit Blick auf die Burg Nideggen. Die Betreiber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Sanitäranlagen sind perfekt. Es gibt ein Restaurant und einen liebevoll geführtes Cafe mit kleinem Laden und einem Brötchenservice.

Sehr freundliche Betreiber. Die Lage ist sehr schön, man kann Kilometerweit wandern oder Rad fahren. Campingplätze direkt an der Rur. Das Restaurant mitten auf dem Platz mit leckerem Essen.

Ein sehr guter Platz mit super netten Betreibern. Kamen spät an und es war alles kein Problem. Waschhaus ist sehr sauber und das auch um 22 Uhr. Camper achten sehr drauf, das es auch ordentlich bleibt. Überall stehen Wischer, die man schnell benutzen kann. Preis Leistung ist mehr als ok. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Blick ist ein Traum
