Camping Erholungspark Wehlingsweide is in a wonderfully quiet setting, in a rural area and near the vast national forest Die Haard. This campsite is a few kilometres north-west of the town of Datteln in North Rhine-Westphalia. This is an ideal campsite for those seeking peace and quiet. Furthermore, you can go on many lovely walks and cycle rides in the vicinity. The campsite itself offers amenities including a luxury wellness centre and a tropical style water landscape where you can relax. Additionally, the site has been landscaped with care and is well maintained.

Something for everyone

Erholungspark Wehlingsweide has a relatively large number of permanent pitches and accommodation for hire, but the campsite is laid out so that the tourist pitches are next to each other. There are camping pitches in various sizes and levels of comfort. The special motorhome pitches are opposite the entrance, on the other side of the road.

A tropical water landscape

A wonderful water landscape has been created close to the campsite entrance. There are palm trees, a sandy beach and water valley around this pond. That makes it an ideal place to relax and unwind.

Pamper yourself in the wellness garden

As well as the aforementioned water landscape, the campsite has also created a lovely wellness garden. You can immerse yourself in the heat of the Finnish sauna (with coloured light), an infrared cabin and a veritable cave sauna. You can also get various types of massages, including a foot reflexology massage. Qualified specialists give these massages. Besides all this, the campsite hires out some mobile homes with a private sauna and whirlpool.

Waren über Ostern 2024 da, Freundliches Personal, toller Platz. Man muss aber mit Gespann fahren können da alles ein klein wenig eng ist. Der Platz selbst, klasse, da ich keinen Teppich unterlegen musste, Sanitäranlage mit eigener kleinen Spüle, in der man seine Utensilien unterstellen konnte, Super, leider nicht immer genügend warmes Wasser zum Duschen vorhanden. Gleich um\'s Eck Auslauf für unsere Hunde. Alles in allem werden wir wieder kommen. Ach ja und das Restaurant auf\'m Platz, habe noch niemals so eine genial schmeckende Currywurst gegessen, die Soße, Handmade, schmeckt einfach nur Geil

Sauberer und liebevoll gestalteter Campingplatz. Viele Privatsanitäranlagen. Freundliches und sehr hilfsbereites Personal. Die Landschaft um den Teich vermittelt einem Urlaubsfeeling in südlichen Ländern, die Abends stimmungsvoll beleuchtet wird. Das Restaurant am Platz ist ebenfalls gut. Leider sind die Einkaufsmöglichkeiten am Platz sehr eingeschränkt. Datteln ist mit dem Fahrrad gut erreichbar. Am Kanal in der Nähe kann man sehr gut spazieren gehen oder Rad fahren. Die Schleuse in der Nähe ist ebenfalls sehenswert. Zum entspannen ist eine kleine Saunalandschaft vorhanden.

etwas abgelegener Platz mit viel Privatsanitär. Sauna vorhanden. Allgemeine Sanis sehr gepflegt. Alle Wege befestigt, ganze Anlage sehr schön gestaltet.Eher ruhiger Platz.

Sehr gepflegter Platz. Viele Stellplätze sind Sanitärhäuschen vorhanden und Buchbar. Mit Teich und Kneippbad, sowie der Bepflanzung hat der Betreiber ein mediterranes Flair erzeugt. Die am Platz gelegene Gaststätte sorgt hervorragend für das leibliche Wohl. Wandern, Radfahren oder einfach nur spazieren gehen ist möglich. Für Saunafans ist eine Saunaanlage vorhanden.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Wir wollten uns an diesen Wochenende erholen war leider nicht möglich da die Musik in der Gaststätte viel zu laut ist mit lerweile ist es 22:40Uhr.Schlafen ist nicht möglich und den Betreiber scheint es nicht zu interessieren. Schade für Erholungssuchende also nicht zu empfehlen.
