The southern interior of Mecklenburg-Voor-Pommeren is also known as the ‘Land of a Thousand Lakes’. Seeweide Naturcamping Penzlin is located on the Großer Stadtsee van Penzlin, one of the nicer recreational lakes in this area. This campsite is ideal if you like to camp in a quiet spot in a natural setting. It is a good home base for water sports activities on the lake and cycling and walking tours through the wooded surrounding area. The camping site gives you a good view of the rolling landscape.

Open site with large pitches

The comfort pitches especially are very generous, although the standard pitches, which are at least 100 square metres in size, certainly are not small. Each pitch at Seeweide Naturcamping Penzlin has grass and some demarcation. The site is open with young vegetation. The new toilet and washing facilities, like the campsite itself, are maintained excellently.

Plenty of water sports options

The big advantage of this campsite is its location by the Großer Stadtsee Penzlin. Even better, the camping site has a sandy beach right next to it. Having fun jumping into the lake is also possible, thanks to the two swimming docks next to the beach, one of which has a slide. You can also go standup paddleboarding, canoeing, go out in a pedal boat, rowing and fishing on the Großer Stadtsee. Fun can be had the campsite as well in the natural playground, at the petting zoo or on the mini golf course. Moreover, four times a year there is a fun music night.

Wir wollten 2 Tage bleiben, verlängerten dann auf 4Tage.
Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.
Schöner Platz zum Auswählen trotz ACSI Preis, gute Lage für Fahrradtouren, Sanitär super und sauber. Schöner Badeplatz für Badefreudige. Alles wunderbar.
Kinderfreundlichkeit und Sporteinrichtungen benötigten wir nicht, deshalb keine Bewertung.

Wir waren das erste Mal auf der Heimreise von der Insel Fehmarn auf diesem schönen Campingplatz. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Das Personal ist super und jeden Tag frischen Kuchen super.
