The expansive grounds (35 ha) of campsite Prerow (Regenbogen Ferienanlage Prerow in full) are situated in a fairy-tale-like setting on the Baltic Sea, on the northernmost tip of the northern German region of Mecklenburg-Vorpommeren. It is an eco-campsite with an area reserved for naturists. Here, you will find nothing but sea, dunes and sands (fine, almost white sand) as far as the eye can see. An enormous forest lies behind the campsite. It's the perfect place to become one with nature.

Camping behind the dunes

The grounds are expansive, which may not appeal to everyone. If you enjoy small, cosy and structured spaces, you might feel lost here. The (supervised) grounds have 850 touring pitches (12-100 m2), 100 camping pitches and 43 rental cabins. The touring pitches are mostly located in the sand (with or without a dune with beach grass) but there are also paved grassy areas. Camping like this behind a low row of dunes with a private beach at your doorstep is a luxury experience, heightened by the peace and quiet that you will find here day and night.

An active holiday

The Baltic Sea offers many water sports opportunities (snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaking, canoeing and sailing). You can rent surfboards, canoes, kayaks and sailing boats on location. Cycling in the vicinity can sometimes be difficult; ask at the reception which cycling routes are most suitable. Children will enjoy themselves immensely on Prerow with its playground, sports field and entertainment programme.

Fine food and drink

Prerow has multiple restaurants, offering you a wide selection. You can also enjoy an extensive breakfast here. There is a snack bar and a pizzeria. Take-away meals are also offered.

Travelling party: Family with children, 4 – 12 years

Platz in den Dünen ist einmalig. Jedoch kann es auf Grund vom Wetter zu Wasseransammlungen im Dünnenbereich kommen.
FKK sollte ernster genommen werden, da sehr viele Stellplätze an Textiler vermietet wurden. Am FKK Strand wurde man leider von den angezogenen dumm angemacht.
Das Mietbad war sehr gut, normale Sanitäranlagen waren sauber, aber in die Jahre gekommen. Jedoch etwas störend war bei den Sanitäranlagen, dass bei den Waschmaschinen kein Netz bzw. WLAN ging. Waschen/Trocknen zum Einschalten war eine Herausforderung. Wir dachten eigentlich, dass WLAN für die Gäste in bestimmten Bereichen vorhanden wäre. Dieses wäre sinnvoll, da das Mobilnetz teils sehr schlecht war bzw. ausgebaut ist. Alles in allem ein sehr schönes Dünenerlebnis. Eine Animation gab es Anfang September nicht mehr. Spielplatz sollte wieder erneuert werden. Für Teenies etwas wenig geboten. Unterhaltung anhand Livemusik. Pizzeria hatte am Platz Ruhetage, was wir so bei anderen Plätzen nicht kannten. Ein weiterer Besuch ist auf jeden Fall geplant, wenn es so bleibt wie es ist!

tolle Lage, aber Stellplatzpreis ist Abzocke, alles zum Wohl der Aktionäre ! Sanitäranlagen mit DDR Flair, FKK Bereicht zu 90% mit Textil besetzt, keine klare Regelung !

Super Aufenthalt...der schönste Strand Deutschlands! Schöner Campingplatz unter Bäumen direkt hinter den Dünen gelegen...Wohnwagen und Zelte können direkt in den Dünen campen...traumhaft gelegen...

Travelling party: Seniors

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Essen war in der Anlage nicht besonders. Der Supermarkt war gut sortiert. Die Angestellten alle freundlich. Die Sanitäranlagen
müßten allerdings mal erneuert werden. Das war unser Hauptkritikpunkt. Die Putzkolonne war 4x am Tag im Einsatz.
Mit der ASCI-Karte hatten wir zudem einen günstigen Urlaub und werden den Campingplatz wieder besuchen.
