Campingplatz am Garder See is in the East German Mecklenburg-Vor-Pommeren or Mecklenburg–Western Pomerania. The campsite is close to the lake and is surrounded by a large forest. It is an ideal location for exploring the surroundings on foot or on a bicycle. The green campsite is a perfect home base for campsite visitors who love nature.

Great campsite

The green Campingplatz am Garder See is given an excellent review by campsite visitors. There are both touring pitches and pitches for seasonal campsite visitors. Fresh rolls can be purchased daily at the small supermarket. Not in the mood to cook? Enjoy a delicious meal at the campsite restaurant, even though it has a small menu. The local dishes are particularly good here. Campsite visitors have rated the toilet block as clean and neat.

Sleep in a tree tent

If you don’t have your own camping equipment, it is possible to rent bungalows or an idyllic wooden chalet for two guests at the campsite. If you are adventurous, choose to stay overnight in a tree tent. This tent hangs between two trees, and you sleep several metres above the ground.

Holiday by the water

The campsite is within walking distance of a lake. You need only cross the access road to the campsite. There is a small harbour for row boats, canoes and pedal boats. There is also a section of the lake where you can go swimming. The water deepens gradually, making it suitable for swimming with small children.
