Sociable and a lovely view
The facilities on the campsite are not in contemporary style, but this only enhances the cosy atmosphere. Many of the camping pitches offer a beautiful view of the lake. A number of trees dot the camping fields. The camping pitches have a grass surface. As they are not demarcated, the available space may differ per season.
Clean sanitary facilities
The sanitary facilities, as mentioned before, are not exceedingly modern, but are kept meticulously clean. Apart from an area to play table tennis and volley ball, there are few facilities available for children. There is no swimming pool on the campsite, but swimming in the lake is allowed. A large wooden tepee, where you can make a fire, serves as the central meeting place.
Quiet and space
The campsite is an ideal spot for nature lovers and is therefore mainly frequented by holiday makers looking for quiet and space. The area is eminently suited for walking and cycling. Guided walks are also offered. The area north-west of Dobbertin, abound with lakes, is definitely worth a visit.
